@@Kphillips0909 That should have been 15 yard penalty on Detroit bringing the cowboys inside the 15 yard line, with less than 2 minutes. Regardless, what people fail to realize this point. Even if all that is true, the ref told the defense and announced 70 was eligible. Which means the defense did not cover 68 for a reason. So for people to say we know what would have happened if 68 reported properly, we have no idea how the defense would play it. Check the replay. Stepen A's logic makes no sense. The refs altered the game when they called the tripping penalty on the wrong team! If the refs get that call correct, the game is over. The Cowboys run the ball three times and score a touchdown or kick a field goal, but also cause Detroit to use up the last of their timeouts and they run the clock down and end the game. What Stephen is saying makes no sense logically.
@@zaynightwing Agree that the Dallas "prevent" defense was just mind-boggling! But doesn't change the fact that they should have never been back on the field anyway.
The Lions were lucky to be in that position. Ceedee fumbles at the goal line and the phantom tripping call on Dallas. This game should’ve been 27-13 Dallas with the easy win. 20-13 at worst. On top of that they had 2 more chances to get it in the end zone. Micah jumped offsides on an interception that would’ve ended the game as well. After that they should’ve took the extra point and OT but they tried for 2 AGAIN, and failed. So the refs didn’t hand the victory to Dallas.
Bingo but nobody wants to talk about that ! Lions were blessed to have the chance to send that game to OT but they got greedy and tried for the 2PT conversion 3X but failed.
What LOL?! So if Derrick Barnes smacks Dak in the end zone that’s a safety with Detroit getting possession. Otherwise that bomb to Lamb doesn’t happen! You Dallas fans kill me.. 😂
If anyone in Detroit wants to blame someone for their loss then blame their coach. Either he intentionally tried to deceive the Cowboys and the world (which should end his career) or he did not coach his players well enough to make it clear for EVERYONE who the eligible player was. He ordered not one, not two, but three two point conversions attempts in a row when a simple extra point was all he needed to go to OT and show the world that his team is really the better team. The Detroit fans should be screaming about how incompetent (or dishonest) their coach was and how HE got caught in front of the world instead of blaming the refs. The good head coaches don't lose because of their emotion, they rely on a cool head to make critical decisions and win. The Lions coach should admit his poor (or dishonest) coaching instead of hiding behind the blame of someone else. (If there is a conspiracy to help the Cowboys win then why did the refs make an erroneous tripping call which killed their chances of winding down the clock or get another touchdown to end the game.)
ESPN won’t release the video of the officials announcing number 70 as eligible showing it was the correct call because they want to drag this out as long as they can!! Dallas hate brings in ratings

HENCE WHY 68 was even open on that play. The Lions are just deaf or stupid and didnt pay attention to 70 being ANNOUNCED OUT LOUD. You hear 70 and still throw to 68? DUMB. They try again for 2 for some reason. then AGAIN for 2 for some reason. and lose. The lions are just idiots. Dallas doesnt gaf who walks over to the ref. They listen for the number to be announced like the dumb lions should have. Not to mention the play was an illegal formation to begin with. How is all this too hard for everyone? Take your L and sit down, Detroit. and S.A.S., the lions were LUCKY that the trip was called wrong and even gave them a shot to score at the end. They were also LUCKY ceedee fumbled into the endzone.
Is it lucky for the other team(s)or for the Cowboys that the refs haven't called any holding penalties when there has been so many on the game wrecker Micha Parsons?

Stephen A. Smith is acknowledging that without the tripping call, the Lions wouldn't have even gotten that last drive but then he claims its not a "final outcome altering" call? 😂 This man is either clearly delusional or just an amazing actor 😂😂
I don't think people really understand why that tripping call was so important. The cowboys got called on a tripping call that gave the opportunity for lions to come back and score. That tripping was not committed by a cowboy, it was by Hutchinson a lion. That was crucial at the end! To me, that is far more obvious of the refs incompetence
Bro don't give people a pass. Everybody watching that game seen the bs tripping call and the dumb play calls of McCarthy. People get to pick and choose what the wanna acknowledge and see as long as it suits them. Lions didn't deserve that game period and I'm from Tampa.
Don't see why people keep saying this, look at the replay of that play Hutch never tripped anyone on the play and one of the cowboys players was holding anyways
You are correct. That was the game right there if they called it right. Lions dont get another shot at a 2 pt conversion or even a touchdown. 20-13 game
1. It was a bad line up call BECAUSE the ref called the wrong eligible receiver. 2. If u watch the footage in full, Aiden is being held before the phantom tripping call
I’m actually kinda mad, Swaggu and Mad Dog didn’t mention the Chiefs game a few weeks ago when the refs called back that lateral play by Kelce and Toney
If we’re going to analyze every single play, the refs missed about 12 holding calls on the Lions, they had an illegal formation other than sending 70 over to report after 68 reported which confused the refs, and despite the complaints, the lions still had 3 more chances to win the game. Dallas helped them with a defensive penalty, their TE dropped a pass that hit him right in the hands then they messed up the onside kick. To me, they have no one but themselves to blame.
We still assume that had Det had the correct eligible receiver announced they still would have made the catch. Maybe if the announced eligible receiver was the correct one they may have ensured there was coverage in that area and maybe he doesn’t make the catch.

I don't understand. Didn't the Lions have another play after the call that could have changed the outcome?
Stephen A calling Mad Dog a troll is quite the concept lol
Everyone in the world knows its All Luck😂😂😂😂
There was a clear hold on Dallas o-line on the deep td to CeeDee btw
Almost like in play penalties are missed all the time! Pre snap tho? That's on you, Lions!
And there were a half dozen holds on Micah Parsons that went uncalled. We could play that game all day
@kabob21 there wasn't you cowboys fans just think everything is holding.
Does Marcus not realize that’s it’s NOT an illegal formation if the ref had reported Decker LIKE WE’VE BEEN SAYING
So special person. If number seventy reported and they covered him up that's an illegal formation. You must have never played pop warner. You seem to be forgetting three people walked up to the ref. The lions were trying to be sneaky and they got busted. And if we're really talking about bad calls, they called a tripping call that never happened. The lines would have never even had the ability to go for 2. Smh
Um, wrong!
Yes yes yes
@@seeyouintee2234 th..that’s what he just said.. 70 didnt report. If they got the right person reporting then it wouldn’t have been a illegal formation
His bias wont allow it.
SAS lucky the Cowboys keeps him employed . At the Beginning of the season he said the Cowboys want make the playoffs 😚
Stephen A Smith, get over it that game was last year already PS like Jimmy Johnson said at halftime - How bout Them Cowboys!. Lolz 💪🏽🏈
SAS stay lying. The eagles were 10-2 when they faced the cowboys and were supposed to be angry because they just got whooped by the 49ers. Everyone and they mama thought the eagles were going to come out fighting against the cowboys
Okay think please Dallas beat Washington 3o4 win it all 😮😅😊 thank you 🙏♥️ 😂😂😊😊❤🎉😮😅😊😢😂😂
I'ma say this and it's not cuz I'm a cowboy hater or anything like that. BUT I kinda feel like the Packers can beat Dallas😅. Idk I just feel like the Packers IF they play a great game is gonna beat them
Stephen A. Smith is acknowledging that without the tripping call, the Lions wouldn't have even gotten that last drive but then he claims its not a "final outcome altering" call? 😂 This man is either clearly delusional or just an amazing actor 😂😂
All that negative energy from Stephen A. Dude is a big hater. Why spend all that energy on hate 🤦♂️ so exhausting. lol
Cowboys not winning, you can tell .. the way yall amp them up every year just to lose in the playoffs is insane
Bro don't give people a pass. Everybody watching that game seen the bs tripping call and the dumb play calls of McCarthy. People get to pick and choose what the wanna acknowledge and see as long as it suits them. Lions didn't deserve that game period and I'm from Tampa.
@@TLR1988 our Boys are just easy for everyone to hate on like the Lakers, Yankees, etc. They don’t even hide their bias man 💀
Don't see why people keep saying this, look at the replay of that play Hutch never tripped anyone on the play and one of the cowboys players was holding anyways
You are correct. That was the game right there if they called it right. Lions dont get another shot at a 2 pt conversion or even a touchdown. 20-13 game
The refs have been altering the game outcome for 10+ games by the obvious holding of Micha Parsons the game wrecker
Talking louder does NOT make you correct. Something Stevie should be made aware of.
Swagu is incorrect. It was not an illegal formation. It was only illegal if Decker didn't report as eligible.
😂 it’s it me or does Steven a just makes sports better 😎👍
I guess it's you .
1. It was a bad line up call BECAUSE the ref called the wrong eligible receiver.
2. If u watch the footage in full, Aiden is being held before the phantom tripping call
Stephan A just blowing constant hot air and so off base it isn't funny. Go Swaguuuuu!!!!
This show goes off the rails after Mondays and Tuesdays 😮
Detroit should have kicmed feild goal after official after ref screwed them. I like going for it but atleast they have another chance
SAS knows what he is doing. He's bitter about that one chick back then but yet it's helps his ratings cause the lovers and haters will watch
Cowboys are as good as The Detroit Lions with help from the officials....
I’m actually kinda mad, Swaggu and Mad Dog didn’t mention the Chiefs game a few weeks ago when the refs called back that lateral play by Kelce and Toney
Everyone got on Toney because he did it again after that game smh
I just pray we come ready to Washington! Cant afford a final trap game!
I’m sorry but switch the teams on that last call cowboys fans would absolutely go insane if they lost the game because of ref missed call
Thats why espn really needs to change there analyst because alot of them don't have a clue about sports...
The answer to the question Swagu posed to SAS is "it hurt Dallas, that's why the bogus tripping call doesn't matter"
SAS would have a heart attack if the Cowboys makes it to the Super Bowl
The Lions never get lucky. Literally has have the most controversial calls in history of the years. Mad Dog don’t know what he’s talking about
SAS: We must stick to the narrative. No other play matters. Look at this, not that.
This is why i need Dallas to go as far as possible in the playoffs just to shut Stephen A up.
Umm…Dez caught it!!!!
Opening up old wounds man😅.. I will never let that go
I bet this wouldn’t be a topic if the Cowboys lost they wouldn’t even be talking about the tripping penalty
Sas doesn’t like to be interrupted but turns around and interrupts Swagu!
SAS is a clown 😂
Talk about burying your head in the sand 😂
😂😂😂How am I off to a lousy start and I haven’t spoken yet💀💀💀
Dez catch (non catch) against the packers didn’t change the game at the end?
Lions won the divisional playoff game in 1991. SAS wrong again
It’s not wrong lol. That was the LAST win. It’s the only win since the 50s my g
We still assume that had Det had the correct eligible receiver announced they still would have made the catch. Maybe if the announced eligible receiver was the correct one they may have ensured there was coverage in that area and maybe he doesn’t make the catch.
