I love this shit. The chemistry with these 2 is amazing. Its like listening to your gangster ass uncles having a coversation in the other room while your pretending to be asleep.
James growth is inspirational man. One of my favorite quotes is "Black men in this country are allowed to grow but not allowed to mature." Imagine if we got a chance to see the evolution of more black men like James. I used to work a graveyard shift in 2019. I used to listen to the show to get through the shift. Reggie is speaking facts on the history. The show used to be called “Death Row Chronicles” Alex was first as a guest & added as a co host after.
Been a longtime supporter.. just stating the obvious truth for all the viewers. Already subscribed & listening to Still Bombing Podcast. Continued success to you and James.
I think Alex was a guest after Bosko100, Alex was guest on Episode 3, and became Co-Host on episode 4.
GC went downhill after the Reggie, James & Alex combination broke up

This was a funny episode, but I always said Norman Steel seemed to be a snake and he definitely fucked the Gangster Chronicles up trying to be a host, Reggie Wright and James made that show, people watched it because of Reggie and James, Norman Steel is a out of state dude, he doesn't know LA politics, prime example, when he had that Mexican music producer on the show, he was out of bounds for that,that guy was throwing all kinds of shots and big goofy Norman didn't pick up on it

When James spoke about his loyalty to Reggie I thought that was touching. He said I don’t care if he did do it! I’m here now! I think these older men understand each others flaws and accept them. James kinda snaked Reggie with the Money over at GC. Reggie forgave him. Reggie could’ve maybe slowed down the FG snitch shit but he let them do it. James is like so what.
Go the legal route but get a lawyer with a good reputation that you can really trust and get what you are owed from Black effect and or Norm Steele!
I’m a new subbie. I have caught a few interviews over the years and I really have missed out.
Reggie, I’m a Texan but I love hearing stories about Compton, South Central, Watts etc… I have some questions:
1. Did you or Death Row ever cross paths w John Singleton? Would he have been interested in doing a movie on DR? I know he was supposed to be apart of the 2pac movie.
2. Speaking of John I recently got into Snowfall. Are you a fan? How accurate is the portrayal of crack hitting the neighborhoods??
3. Is Cali reallyyyy that expensive? Does your whole family still live there? Do you know Shaunie O’Neal (Shaq’s ex wife and from Inglewood) or Malaysia Pargo (from Compton)?? I love them from BBALLWIVES lol and they stay reppin esp Malaysia.

It's funny how I feel y'all so much. I used to live with my mom's cousins from East LA in Woodland and they couldn't pronounce my bird's name Ragnar so they called him Reggie. And my last name is Wright. Then our great-grandma her family is named Jaime which means James in Spanish. Then my dad his niece married a dude from So Cal named McDonald. So all y'all around me on BOTH sides but like on a friend of friend or long-lost cousin tip. 🤣

I liken the breakup to Diana Ross leaving the Supremes, or Smokey Robinson leaving the Miracles. The chemistry of Alex Alonzo the urban scholar, Reggie the insider of Death Row, and Mob James the street dude, was perfect. It was a nice niche while it lasted. The information about Death Row that you guys brought to the table was unsurpassed. It could only be topped by if Suge himself sat at the table. You guys made it work! Norm Steele like Barry Gordy, had the platform, and you all made it work, and deserve equal credit. I looked forward to watching it!Then, like Diana Ross, and Smokey Robinson you all went your separate ways! No harm no foul! I would say you could use a moderator like Alex Alonzo to keep you all on point, and keep it moving! I give Norm, and you all alot of credit, because you all never asked, or begged for money on the Podcast! The PODCAST stood on it's own, that's what I respected most about it!
