    Thanks, that was a paintstaking process but I followed along and it worked.

    I used it to overlay path of travel line with the spaced arrow symbols. If only Revit was capable of replacing line style types with formula based detailed components such as your tutorial life would be easier. Thanks!

    How do I scale down the line size once the family is input into my revit model?

    Great video. Is it possible to create a custom linetype that follows an arc? So someone could show a chain link fence with curves in it?

      I don't believe so. I will hVe to test and get back to you tomorrow

      It seems curves, splines and arcs are still not allowed in the creation of custom linetypes at this time...

    and which one should I click to draw that line whenever I want?

      After you make the custom lifestyle, you can use the model line or detail line command and choose it from the drop down list

    Hello, this is exactly what I'm after for utilities drawings in Revit.
    I cannot seem to get the formula to work in the way you do. Why does it reference spacing if spacing is not used in the constraints?

    • @DzanTa
      @DzanTa  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is using spacing, just indirectly. Send file to me so I can help. Dzanta@gmail.com

    How did you get the line to hide behind the label?

    • @DzanTa
      @DzanTa  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The line should be defaulted to show behind the text object. If not, you could use a masking region behind the text but above the line. Hope this helps
