Liam's a great bloke, especially to fans. Had a very brief run in with him years ago and he was very accomodating. Noel's always striked me as the petty and vindictive one. Just read about his behaviour to Tony McCarrol. Theres probably a reason why Bonehead still speaks to Liam and not Noel. I'm not surprised Taylor got along with Liam and not Noel too. RIP man.

But we need to give him credit for his ruthlessly calculated foresight because he quit playing with one of the biggest selling artists of all time to play with a band that was still playing small theaters that wound up being one of the biggest bands in the world. I agree. I often wondered if he felt bad about what he said about Michael Hutchence at the Brits. Michael was only in his 30's and Noel called him a 'has been.' Now Noel's in his 50's and still playing. I doubt he will care, he's too arrogant to care about anybody but himself. Liam on the other hand is more down to earth and was friends with Taylor and Dave. Used to think Noel was just fine without Oasis.... Key words, "Used to". His music is trash now. I thought his first solo album was great, and the second was pretty good, too. Been downhill ever since, though. A few of the newer more "pop" songs of his are okay and kind of catchy, but a lot of them are really bad. I mean his newest song and the music video that accompanied it was a joke.

T's been with Mr Dave Grohl for almost 23 years, gotta respect... that's loyalty and love (from every member), for the band to work, for their fans. A grown man talking childish?! - Earn the respect.
I love Oasis and have a huge amount of respect for Noel - but I lost a bit of respect for him after he went to dig out Foo Fighters. The most respectful and genuine people on the rock scene. Now Taylor Hawkins is gone I wonder if he regrets his words. A lesson to all - be kind. Banter is one thing but openly mugging someone off who was trying to be decent to you is another.
I agree. I often wondered if he felt bad about what he said about Michael Hutchence at the Brits. Michael was only in his 30's and Noel called him a 'has been.' Now Noel's in his 50's and still playing. I doubt he will care, he's too arrogant to care about anybody but himself. Liam on the other hand is more down to earth and was friends with Taylor and Dave.

Used to think Noel was just fine without Oasis.... Key words, "Used to". His music is trash now. I thought his first solo album was great, and the second was pretty good, too. Been downhill ever since, though. A few of the newer more "pop" songs of his are okay and kind of catchy, but a lot of them are really bad. I mean his newest song and the music video that accompanied it was a joke.

I even said some of his newer, more pop songs are kind of catchy and I can listen to them, but a lot if them I find to be trash. It's called an opinion.

I imagine it takes huge amount of effort to put out an album and since I don't, I don't dare to call anyones work trash. It's called respecting ones work. ...of course you are perfectly entitled to your own opinion, but he's been rehearsing next door to one's rather splendid Gothic style country manor house set in approximately 27¾acres of lush Oxfordshire countryside, and the two new songs he's been working on with his birds ( " Christ Almighty On An Old '70's Chopper Bicycle " & "The Mexican Magician" sound like absolute exemplary examples of British Pop delight!
