Super clean playing especially given the rhythmic modulations! Anyways, thank you for sharing

    RED COATS???.....PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
    The musicians of George Washington's Continental Army wore RED coats with blue trim, so they would not get shot at during the battles. US musicians were on the battle field behind the front line on infantry soldiers. And would play musical commands given by the US officers. The infantry soldiers firing rifles could not hear or understand the officers vocal commands so musical commands were created to inform the infantry soldiers to flank, fire, reload, retreat, etc.
    It was a gentleman's war, with ethics. The US infantry soldiers wore BLUE coats with red trim.
    The opposition infantry wore RED coats as well. Though the stylings of the British RED Coats were different than the stylings of the US Continental Army, basicaly the buttons and trim design were layed out differently between the British coats and US coats, including the US musicians coats.
    During that time period everyone standing on US soil was mostly from Europe. England, France, Germany, Spain, etc. So the designs were similar, rooted from Europe.

    Those cooperman snare drums, sound fantastic. DCI and DCA, should try to make their drums sound like real snare drums, instead of cardboard boxes. One problem they're using Kevlar heads, and it tightens so tight it's like drumming on cement. Plus they play very few rudiments, they do plenty of Rim shots at the rimshot, arms flaring all over the place, the heads are always bobbing, and you need to be a juggler in order to be in a drum section. It's a total embarrassment to anybody that is or was a real rudimental drummer. Today is September 29th 2022. Former member of the Floyd Bennett golden eagles from Brooklyn New York, 1960 and 1961, and a former member of the Long Island sunrises, 1964 through 1968. Also started the American Spirit senior alumni Corp along with John Dowling, may he rest in peace, that was in 1992. Today is September 29th 2022.

      Yea, this particular set I believe were Buchler drums from Switzerland.
      17" heads by 20" deep, with gut snares. I think we were using some type of swiss kevlar head at the time as well. And the drums are put into a rope tension hydraulic press (lightly) to get even tension on the rims, then the rope is pulled evenly around the drum and tide off with a pig tail and the left over rope is woven into the drag rope.

      Coats of the fifers and drummer’s were reversed so as to ensure the officers can pick them out of a crowd if they are needed.

      So they changed the kilometer mark at ACAA, so what? Everyone makes typographical errors. Who cares? Seriously, at this belated stage of our little chess game, that’s all the British Empire can muster? A stupid hope of causing my irrational reaction to an irrelevant typo? Guess what, you made a new entry in my hidden fourth dimension. You made what was just a typo into a National Security artifact. SURRENDER.

      and to you!! take a step back and view your country compared too mine and or ours!! do i really have to say anything? God save the queen?😂 her fat fucking ass doesn't care about you!! it's a monarchy!!😂 the sooner you realize that the better off you will be!! look at the infux of people to your country and they are taking it over!! that's what BBC won't tell you!!😂 we see!!😂 we are a melting pot but we still maintain control!! I wouldn't want too live in Europe in the next 20 or so years!! you guys are steadily being attacked by terrorist via bombing!! and then quietly asking the US for help!! we have crazy shit go on here but we sure don't let that happen!! want know why they don't? cause they know if they do, wherever them came from is in trouble!! I didn't see you guys invade Iraq with no sanctions from the un!! kinda says a lot without say much at all!! you know what i mean? what the fk am I saying, hell no you don't!! people say a lot! but I'm the kinda of guy that looks at it like the proof is in the pudding kind of way!! your bowl is empty!! anyways, it was somewhat comical too see the prince with his private gard sitting in his private chopper!! notice the word private? lol, and they care about you!! it sure made for a noble pic though didn't it?😂 what in God's name did he do over there that contributed to the war effort!! matter of fact, didn't your country pull it's main fighting force save for small spec op teams? yup!! anyways!! back to your noble prince, he sure did look as if he was going to catch bin laddin all by himself!! right then lads, we can do it!! for the queen!!😂 so fkn cliché!!

    Musical heritage ( British heritage ) also you should really have invited the British army band to play this it doesn’t have the same feel. Also no big British flag flying in the wind elegantly -_-

  • @jonblacker4448
    @jonblacker4448 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    They should fly the french flag and celebrate a stumpy little french man , wasn't for him causing trouble across Europe, thousand upon thousand's of red coats would have been in the new lands and the war would have been very different.
