This song and Growing up make me cry when I walk through the halls of my high school knowing its my last year and I have no plans on what my future is.
There’s times I miss the friends I had There’s times I’m glad they’re gone But I can’t explain the feelin’ Of how I watched you all move on There’s days when I forget myself I don’t feel like a man When my body’s full of alcohol And I’m sleepin’ in the van And my head aches And my heart breaks For you There’s times when I’m remembering When I was 17 Man, I should’ve gone to college Things are looking up for me If every day could take away The pain that I have found Then I close my eyes And walk outside Hear my favorite sound And my head aches And my heart breaks For you The hope I gave That fades away It’s really not that hard to say You’ll miss when your body aches And you’re livin’ all alone There's one thing that I need to do I'm tryin’ to sell out I could finally pay my rents on time The kids could shut their mouths It's not you, it's me It's getting hard to breathe Let's just keep on talkin’ All about me It's not me, it's you It's more than I can chew And I don't know what to do And I don't know what to do And my head aches And my heart breaks And my head aches And my heart breaks For you Overwhelming I'm not saying I have come of age Everybody Keeps on telling Me to make a change What's the issue If I miss you Wish that I could stay What's the point If I'm annoyed I have come of age And my head aches And my heart breaks And my head aches And my heart breaks And my head aches (Head aches) And my heart breaks (Heart breaks) And my head aches (Head aches) And my heart breaks (Heart breaks)
whats fucking amazing js that zac from FIDLAR produced this whole album, and about this song the singer did it while he was drunk and sad one night in the middle of the night zac said himself. Zac made him do it haha, hes the one who got him drunk
I'm 27, doing well financially, and my investments are compounding nicely. I should be a millionaire in my 30's. Though, the line "There’s times when I’m remembering , When I was 17 Man, I should’ve gone to college" Hit's hard , because I had to work extremely hard for my money. (Heavy Labor)
I just want to take this moment to gush about the guitar riff at the end. In a such a melancholy song, full of so much sadness in confusion, there's always gonna be those moments where it all falls away, and you just get to feel alright. Gotta cherish those moments.
This song hits hard, especially knowing it's only the beginning of this since I'm a sophomore (hs) and that there are many, many more years to come and many more friends to lose.
The wise kitty focused not on all that is lost, but all that remains. Everything is temporary and time is fleeting. Live in the moment. Be grateful and cherish what ever you have no matter how little it is, or else moments of pure joy and bliss will pass you by and you won’t even notice. Only enjoying the good times in hindsight is the saddest thing in the world.
i cant explain it but this song like makes me happy?? just?? not like when it comes on i get excited it's more than that, like when you want to straighten your feet and toes and just lay down for a bit and ??? i honestly can't explain it better than that but. yes this is sum good stuff !
honestly i’m only 14 but my whole childhood has been wasted. this song reminds me that time goes on whether i want to or not. its not a bad thing, it reminds me that things change, for better or worse.
you're 15 now, but i hope you know the next three years are your childhood too. i'm 18, almost 19, and i felt the same way you did when you were 14. and what i've learned is you can always go back to your "childhood" when you're older. it's not over. the measurement of time is fake and you can always circle back to the things you missed.
@@luciam1674 I’m almost thirty now, And I miss feeling the way you guys feel. It’s just becomes and obvious, numbing experience, you make friend and you loose them, some of my friend are dead, some of them are on drugs. Some of them are still my friends, some are on the bend or trying to make amends and some friends are just bound to end. Forever endure, and remember, passion, and emotion, these are the driving forces for those experiences you won’t forget. I often rémanence with friends I didn’t make untill I was across the country and was in my early twenties, about those times we had, and some times it’s even better to hear others experiences than to remember you own. Cheers. I love you all. ❤️
this song reminds me of when I would play sports and was one of the best players on every team I joined, but I got a bad coach and my home life was shit so I no longer had an escape from life so I started to get into drugs. I was showing up to practice high I was skipping cause I was hungover I was selling games back to back, i wasnt mvp anymore, so I got kicked off the team. And now ima druggo if I’m being honest, I wish this nightmare would just stop.
@@whristan I’m doing better, I’ve been cutting back and started going to the gym to compensate for lost time. I still don’t feel very happy though. Thanks man
all of the sudden me and my friends are drifting apart. i kinda of dislike spending time with them. they have new inside jokes and a group chat with someone else instead of me. if this is what being of age feels like, i don’t like it.
"Theres times i miss the friends i had theres times im glad they're gone." i love that and relate so much to it 🌙
Isis Rivera same 😩
But I can't explain the feeling of how I watched you all move on.
Pussy

Apocalyptic Recess *head nod *
This is their best album, I wish they still did songs like this.
"It's not me it's you, it's more than I can chew" fucken love this
There’s times I miss the friends I had
There’s times I’m glad they’re gone
But I can’t explain the feelin’
Of how I watched you all move on
There’s days when I forget myself
I don’t feel like a man
When my body’s full of alcohol
And I’m sleepin’ in the van
And my head aches
And my heart breaks
For you
There’s times when I’m remembering
When I was 17
Man, I should’ve gone to college
Things are looking up for me
If every day could take away
The pain that I have found
Then I close my eyes
And walk outside
Hear my favorite sound
And my head aches
And my heart breaks
For you
The hope I gave
That fades away
It’s really not that hard to say
You’ll miss when your body aches
And you’re livin’ all alone
There's one thing that I need to do
I'm tryin’ to sell out
I could finally pay my rents on time
The kids could shut their mouths
It's not you, it's me
It's getting hard to breathe
Let's just keep on talkin’
All about me
It's not me, it's you
It's more than I can chew
And I don't know what to do
And I don't know what to do
And my head aches
And my heart breaks
And my head aches
And my heart breaks
For you
Overwhelming
I'm not saying
I have come of age
Everybody
Keeps on telling
Me to make a change
What's the issue
If I miss you
Wish that I could stay
What's the point
If I'm annoyed
I have come of age
And my head aches
And my heart breaks
And my head aches
And my heart breaks
And my head aches
(Head aches)
And my heart breaks
(Heart breaks)
And my head aches
(Head aches)
And my heart breaks
(Heart breaks)
best song on the album if you ask me, the fact that it was difficult to sing adds even more to it
i keep coming back for more
this song hit me when I first heard it. seeing the frights live was am experience I'll never forget even though I was fucked up.

That guy seems like a total dweeb. Not impressed.
Rock N Roll Party Music and then he was like "hey why don't you just get me drunk again" and Zac was like "no"
Wtf it's really amazing
I'm 26 and went to college but I still feel this song to my core like man i should've majored in business

This took me back to 2016-2017.... I’d do anything to listen to this album for the first time again tbh.

From 2:29 and on, it reminds me of the beatles, it's a tight viibe...
song lowkey sounds like it could've been from let it be, with john singing lead and the beatles doing a traditional rock arrangement

I used the lyrics of this song in a project for a theater class and it was the perfect mixture of dramma and emotion and it came out so perfect
the more time that passes, the harder this song hits

I love this song, it sounded like bayside but different.
This tune reminds me of some love song...marry you by bruno mars? no...fuck I can't put my finger on it...
Why does this song only have 2k likes?
I don’t know why but I get a Beatles vibe from this...
My gf said this was her fav song so i thought lets check it out 👉🏻👈🏻😌
i actually don't hate this one
so yeah, this is awfully bayside on acoustics, the other tracks, not so much, but this one, let us all be by the bell saved
