please do more of these. Most guides on SnB is 6 months old already and having just gotten the game I have no idea what's relevant and what isn't... What guns/armors etc. to go for and what I should leave for later...
I'm having a hard time not using the Divine Thunder guns. I just started playing this game last week, but they seem like the best to kill things. Weakpoints triggering lightning strikes is very strong, maybe a bit over-tuned. I'm trying to pick a ship to level up first. Probably the Barque. I like healing with the buoy and damage with the broadsides. But seems like the Battle Junk might be the best overall ship for all activities and the taunt status effect is really strong.
The divine thunder long guns are heaps of fun to play with and are great for PVE due to being able to hit all the enemy weak points and get that lightning damage you’re talking about. I just find those long guns harder to use in PVP because other players weak points are much smaller and harder to hit. I’m really liking the heavens mandate lightning guns at the moment! The battle junk is a great all rounder ship at the moment. Definitely worth the grind to upgrade
@@gusomajicdid you switch up this build much with the heavens mandate guns? Close to getting them myself. Did you put them on both sides of your ships or just one? Thanks for the build guide. Going to try this one out today. Working on getting the Black Prince hull. Been using the celestial dance once that do lightning damage when you brace. They’re really fun.
@@thelordsauron yeah the heavens mandate works really well on both sides ⚡️⚡️ suits the battle junk very well because it’s designed more for close range combat. I’m glad you’re enjoying the build :) If I get a spare black prince I’ll let you know!
Thanks Rex! Yeah exactly, and the drop rates actually seem pretty good. I killed the tides of terror maybe 7 times and got 2 Plaguebringers ward furniture pieces
@@shawnoconnor4633 Im testing out the heavens mandate guns now. If I think they will work better than I’ll probably put the charged stores furniture piece on and swap out the toxic furniture for more electrical stuff. I’ll make a full electrical build and post it up :)

Taunted is confusing and the developers said they will update it. At the moment you can still apply taunted to other players, as you see the red/purple effect on them with the thumb down picture. Meaning they are definitely taking some sort of de buff.
Nice build! I had a question, I have 77 upgrade parts from smugglers pass and the bosses but I don’t know how to use them when it comes to upgrading ships, when I go to shipwright to up grade, it tells me that I am still missing different components, I am really confused, I thought the upgrade parts contains the different components, thank you in advance
Thanks Phill! 😁 So every ship has 6 available upgrades. Pick the ship you want to upgrade and it will require particular resources as well as the upgrade parts. When you select the ship you want it will show what other resources are required on the top right hand side of your screen. Most of these resources can be bought with pieces of 8, but you can also farm them from world bosses etc. if you press square (on PS5) it will track the blue print and show you on the map where you can find some of those resources. Also if you hold down triangle (again this is the button for PS5, I’m not sure what platform you’re on), it will show what all the upgrades will do to that particular ship. I hope this helps?
Yeah it looks like it has no front, it’s just all rear end haha. Once you put a big ship ornament on the front it doesn’t look as bad, but I agree it still needs to be a bit more aerodynamic on the front
Used this build all today. Wasn’t sank once. No one expects La Peste in PvP! Love the toxic stamina drain.

You can farm La Pique 3 by killing La Peste. The La peste chests have a chance to have it :)

Time to farm for upgrades and the guns
The guns were much easier to get, but it was definitely a grind to get all the materials to upgrade the battle junk. But definitely worth it! 🔥🔥🏴☠️

I just kept repeating the event until I got one
I just found out that we are also guaranteed the drop at the end of the 3rd and final regatta race

If you look at an item in the codex you can tag resources etc but it will also tell you where or how to obtain said weapon or furniture
