I'm not a fan of K-Drama. But the plot of Hotel del Luna is one that brings across the meaning of life & death and life after death to the point of perfection. What made me almost tear up was when the hotel staff was leaving one by one and the hotel manager, who is a living person, sending each one of them off when it came to their turn to move on. it's the same as how it's done in the real world; the living is the one that sends the dead off into the afterlife. The OST of Hotel del Luna does the show justice in the most perfect sense. It suits the show completely.

Everything in IU's drama are perfect. From OST to the actors itself are totally perfect! And I swear, this drama OST are sooo good plus the artist behind these songs are all a prominent persons.
And all her beautiful outfits put together so well! I especially liked the Breakfast at Tiffany's scene at Swarovski.....hilarious parodying of that iconic scene. The costumes person was very detailed for UI's look. However, I think the small detail of the watch changes for "Ha Va Do" were a little bit rich for his status, Cartier (I have both the Santos Du Mont and the 100 that he wore) and an older Patek Phillipe. Very nice watches indeed. ⌚️

I just rewatched the whole series. The story is intelligently done combining koreas past and present with a mix of comedy, fantasy, horror, romance all in one package and it works so well.
No matter how many times I've watched Hotel De Luna, still it gives me the same feelings with these amazing songs. The pain and longing.💔 Listening to these songs, I always remember the scene where Goo Chan-sung longing for Man-wol when Man-wol went to underworld with her first love to bid her final goodbye to him.I really cried when Chan-sung cried because of his love to Man-Wol. He's hoping and patiently waiting for Man-Wol.💘
This is the first K-drama that I watch. I usually watch the Western series like GoT, Vikings etc.. I decided to watch K-drama since my wife is a big fan of it. I really like Hotel del Luna. It has sweet story, it has many morale lessons. It is a love story but no adult scene. It is a story about the dead but yet vey minimum violence. No yelling and no bad words. I appreciate Hotel DeLuna. I think I will watch K-drama and I hope i can take my wife for short vacation in Korea.

Who's watching in 2022? Trust me, there's no looking back once watched this series. There's no comparable series like this, there's nothing like that. I'm on my last episode and I don't want to watch Ms. Jang leave. Just can't accept it. I feel like whatever I watched, I was the part of entire story and feeling the pain when people leaving, the voice of Jang, her screams, her anger, her sweet voice. It's like she left in reality and incarnated as IU as the queen again. Trust me there's no one can remake this series, no one can play the roles. Hollywood is already in word and signed the contract this year to remake this but I guess, It will be incomplete without these original characters. Now coming on the sound tracks, trust me, whether if you have felt pain or not, only listening these will make you feel sad. I want 2nd part and see them incarnated or atleast something syncing up but I know every good things comes to an end and you can't expect the best after that. It ended beautifully and at right time. But assume if they would have planned to stretch it then I guess Jang could have asked time to live with koo till his last breath and we could have seen more chemistry and magic with more characters or imagine koo and Jang leaving together to afterlife crossing sandon river. Will update, once I complete the last minutes of the last episode. 😔🥲
I am a singer, and most of my life I have sung some of the most beautiful American songs known anywhere. But this soundtrack has some of the most amazing, moving melodies I have ever heard. I'm sad that I don't know the Korean language so that I could perform these songs with justice. Just absolutely stunning. Even without knowing what the words mean, the songs transcend into my soul and the singers are top notch. I cried through this whole series. Well done. A masterpiece.
