I was under the impression that none of the Waters boys had sons. A whole episode about Joe writing a book was based on that. Writers forgot or something?
About 2 minutes into the book-writing episode (Season 2 Episode 14-The Greatest Story Never Told), Joe and Lou have a conversation about carrying on the family name. They talk about their daughters changing their names when they get married. Joe then tells Lou "now that your son is in the seminary, the Waters name is gonna die - we are the last of the line." I'm sure that was the writers setting up this episode.
Even as a kid, I always loved the theme song ending (shoop do wa). The instrumental ending is great too. Lou was/is my favorite Character.👍
Thank you thank you again for posting this show :)
Donald: Lou, you have a very good looking son.
Lou: Well what did you expect?
Donald: An ugly one.
Ha Ha Ha, Love this show! :)
