  • “Giving somebody their first interaction with a horse is so special and a real honour.” 💖🐴
In the latest episode of RIDE, presented by Longines, follow us on a heartwarming journey to London, where Sister Mary-Joy Langdon’s lifelong love for horses has paved the way for The Wormwood Scrubs Pony Centre, a charity offering a safe haven for children and those with special needs. 🇬🇧
Come behind the scenes with us as we explore the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) riding school, chat with dedicated volunteers, and meet the incredible horses that make it all possible. 🌟

Whew! This brought tears to my eyes. I wish every young person had an incredible program like this available to them. Horses really are beautiful, healing teachers and counselors. Thank you to all the people and horses that help make children feel better! ❤ 🐎 ❤

Hopefully one day our society will be inclusive enough that this becomes normality in most stables. To respect that each one of us has their own strengths and weaknesses, some more, some less.
I personally have to be driven quite a long time each week to reach the stable where i can feel safe, where I know i can learn in my own pace and where my needs are respected, and where my riding teacher always looks that I don't overexert myself and take all the pauses I need. Wish more stables would have so much tolerance.
