Préludes Mélodiques, No. 3 in G Major: Interlude - Blas María de Colomer

The third in a set of 24 preludes in all major and minor keys by Spanish composer Blas María de Colomer.
The set of preludes follows the same sequence that Chopin's Op. 28 preludes did, in which a prelude in a major key is followed by a prelude in the relative minor key, in a pattern of ascending fifths. (ex. C major, followed by A minor; then G major followed by E minor, etc.).

A lovely floaty piece evocative of a summer's evening by the sea played with such a delicate touch. Amazing given that you say you are not an advanced pianist. Masterful playing.

Yes it is. Most of the preludes in that set are very brief. The preludes in the second set seem to be a little longer. I might go back to them in the future and see if I want to finish book 1 and put them in 1 video. Although, the score on IMSLP is missing a prelude in book 1, so only 11 out of 12 preludes! Wonder what happened to that missing prelude…
