I just bought one. Have been wanting a pizza oven for a long time. Curious how I’ll operate it in Ohio in the winter lol 😆

I have used other gas ovens in the dead of winter as low as the teens before and they do fine. Might take a bit longer to preheat but they will still cook a great pizza. If there is wind you might want to face it away from the wind so it isn't blowing directly in the opening but other than that fire it up and cook away!

I’ve been looking at this oven for a few weeks now and stuck between this and the ooni 12. Love the size of it but not sure but being I’m a newbie and want to get into pizza making for family events I’m wondering how much would you recommend this oven?

If I was choosing between this and the 12 inch Ooni I would probably lean towards the Solo Stove Pi Prime. I love my Ooni 16 inch oven because of the larger size but I think the Solo Stove cooks slightly better. Both ovens are excellent so you can't go wrong but I might put the Solo slightly above the Ooni.

And these are awesome for cooking for a family. Super easy to crank out 3 or 4 pizzas and have multiple toppings for people to choose from. I love cooking for bigger groups and cooking 10 or 15 pizzas over an evening. As long as people are eating I will keep cooking!

@@CompleteCarnivore exactly why I was looking at the pi prime because I love hosting things for family and friends and looking forward to pizza bar parties in the future and a good oven will def make the difference but thank you for the reply and feedback and will def use the advice you gave me on my choice for a pizza oven!

Your video is exactly 60secs and that pizza it’s no way 30 secs from being cooked .
Maybe not up to temperature? I want one . I just want it to work.

Yeah, 2 minutes is probably a bit more accurate. I have had some cook in 90 seconds before but in some of my longer videos the real time is a bit closer to 2 minutes than 90 seconds. But this oven does cook a great pizza.

Great choice! Really hard to best it, especially for the price.

The control is a little confusing. I see you have it turned down. What should be the pre heating and cooking setting? Thanks!

For preheating definitely crank it up all the way. When I cook the pizza I try to remember to turn the head down a bit when I put the pizza in and then turn it back up between pizzas. I don't always remember to so that though.

Thank you. Still confused on the dial. There is the fire or ignite image at the highest setting. Then the bars are white as you dial it down, but then they go red again. The red setting in the middle makes the flame go the highest I think. So after igniting, I'd like to get it up to 800-850 degrees. Would that be the red bars in the middle and then turn down from there. I can't find any info on the dial online. Thank you!!

@@MichaelWalkerk The hottest setting will be at basically 9:00 on the dial. 6:00 will be the less hot setting. So basically where the dial is right after the ignite click is where you want to put it when preheating.
