I used to use the same type of antennas on a magmount, whilst in a steel portacabin. I was getting RF shocks off of the mic and the ferrite ring in the power leads was getting hot. Perhaps some ferrite beads on the coax may help?🤔
I've got a ferrite clip on ring on the coax , It's definitely down to the lack of a dedicated earth , But will all be sorted once the van is kitted out as the portable radio shack .

Did you connect a line isolator at the radio end ?
