  • Join us for a learning experience for all to find out about the effects of climate change on wildlife and explore nature-based solutions to climate change. Our second broadcast, from Field Studies Council Slapton Ley in Devon, will focus on the nature-based solutions to climate change and showcasing your contributions to our Signs of Spring survey.
    We have an interview from Professor Tim Burt (Field Studies Council President) as he reflects on 63 years of weather data collected at Slapton Ley. He also discusses his work on the impacts and solutions to water pollution in the area.
    We also have an interview from Scott Davidson, a lecturer in Ecosystem Resilience from the University of Plymouth, as he reflects on the role of wetlands as a nature-based solution to climate change.
    The Education Team at Field Studies Council Blencathra in the Lake District have been talking about peatland restoration with the Cumbria Wildlife Trust.
