FLAUTRÓNICA: "Deconstructed"

FLAUTRÓNICA is the latest project from flutist Daniel Manrique-Smith (Jin Jim) and musician and producer Frank Brempel aka Franqulator. Starting with futuristic flute sounds, FLAUTRÓNICA takes its listeners through powerful, complex rhythms and experimental textures into their incomparable universes of electronic dance jazz and far beyond. The duo's music plays with atmospheric noise passages and scattered airy flute interjections in a supportive and inventive way, traversing the territories of jazz, mood and electronics.
Based on improvisation, interaction, groove and a love for the search for new timbres and sounds, each piece follows the other like a cycle that opens, develops, transforms and finally returns to the starting point.
