The guy explaining the wiglets was accurate for someone that has no clue about planes. Decreases the vortices created by the wings when it generates lift, which decreases drag, which mean you burn less fuel which means the plane is more efficient.

Makes you wonder if these airliner conversions are more practical for a billionaires long rang business travel then a dedicated biz jet like the Gulfstream.
I think it depends, the dedicated jets such as the gulfstream can take off and land in much shorter distances than this allowing owners to get closer to a destination as they can use smaller airports

Haha so basically as a traveler, I understand this to be the wing on the 737MAX?
So the way a wing works, in super simplified terms is this... Because of the shape of a wing, once you begin to move, air on the top and bottom of it have different pressures. One low pressure(vacuum) One high pressure(think shaken soda bottle or a scuba tank). Lift is generated because of this difference. In the universe, everything wants to be in equalibrium. (everything be equal) Thats why the compressed air in a soda bottle actually comes out when you open it. Because of this equilibrium thing, the low pressure wants to bleed or transfer into the low pressure and make medium or normal pressure. The only way it can do this is by transferring over the wing tip. This is what creates those spinning vortexes the guy was talking about. Obviously this is not good for efficiency because as I mentioned before, the greater the pressure difference the more lift, less fuel used. Thats how winglets work, they block the moving of that air over the wingtip. One is great but if you've got two it decreases the pass-through even more making the plane more efficient. Hope this answers your question.

It has nothing to do with weight, it has to do with the fact that the water would spill out on takeoff and destroy the aircraft's electronic systems.

I've only flown in a 737 cattle truck once and it blew big time but it wasn't the aircraft though but rather it was one of Ryanairs . The plane was smooth but the people behind, in front and either side of me were gobshites.

i would still take the global 7500 its faster flies higher and can operate out of smaller airports so you wont have to land at a major airport and then hire a toyota prius because you cannot afford anything else
