I had heard from another channel that you can use washers between the Billy bookcase shelf brackets and it gives it just enough room to fit the third baseplate. It might be worth a try!

Really enjoy your videos and content.
Not sure if you have Dollar Tree near you in Canada but they carry the off brand building blocks. They have 32x32 base plates for $1.25ea here. They are inexpensive enough to not feel bad about cutting a row of studs off to fit your IKEA shelves.

I enjoy watching your videos and look forward to them each and every day.
As a suggestion, the wall behind the amusement park has room for a shelf, although it would be a huge pain to get in there and put in brackets. You could then build like the tan wall you sample showed us, along the back of the railroad track and up to the lower shelf, about six to eight inches tall. Holy crow that would be a ton of building. I did notice in an earlier video you mentioned having five police stations, I'm not sure if they are all separte sets, but Iremeber there were two across the street from one another. That sound like the Starbucks in downtown Vancouver. They are three stories tall and are kitty corner from each other on Robson St. Keep up the great work, give the family a hug from me.

You can easily add shelves to your cabinets by using your scraps. Just cut two pieces to the height you would like your shelf then place them on there sides on each side then place your shelf on top. You can easily stack theses. Maybe place double sided tape to hold them against the cabinet side. You most likely would not need this though.

Great organization. Found your video while looking for ideas for my grandson’s room. I hate the fact that it is so hard to dust the Lego’s and the shelves he has because they are out in the open and collect lots of dust. I will continue to look to see if I can find glass covered shelving or acrylic. I need something that keeps the dust out but it is a nice, see-through display for his room.

Hey Jordan you have made one heck of a good setup have to say is pretty awesome. Have a thought to run by you with the adjustable wall shelves you put up around your city lay out. Where you have the extra wall channel for the shelf mounting brackets you could get some white vinyl tape or something of the like to cover up the parts not used and blend into the walls better. One other thought I had was with your floor shelves what if you were to get rid of those and put up all the wall shelves to where you would have the maximum storage area and on inside corners be easy to run wires for led lights throughout. You could have various widths of shelves to accommodate everything and have much more flexibility on setting things in place. With you waiting a year or whatever for getting a warehouse space (which don't blame you as wouldn't rush into it) I feel you will soon be limiting your creativity for running out of space. Love what you do and happy to see you include your family time is awesome to see your little ones growing up so fast. Wishing you only the best.

Nice explanation of the systems you use. Have you thought about painting the raw wood frames that hold your city WHITE? The dark legs disappear but the tan seems unfinished. You could go color crazy and build a 5-6" mini "Bricksie wall" to match your support post. Or attach the graffiti panels you and members made a while back?

Laser level. $50 for a green laser level and you will master leveling 30 tables all at once on the first try. Also don't use construction lumber for the horizontal pieces because it will expand and contract with humidity changes. Plywood only for the supporting members, construction lumber for the legs is ok as it won't change lengthwise.

Is there a way you could describe or showcase in more detail how you sort your bricks? Each drawer seems to be by color, but do you do color then smaller bins inside those with different shapes? Do you have drawers for different "themes' despite color/shape? What about rare or odd shapes and character pieces and accessories?

Or even partner up with some local Bricklink sellers and some areas within the commercial property allocated to them and they can sell product while you retain a certain percentage of profit with rent out space? The only way I would allow my husband to spend that much money on a hobby is if he matched the exact same amount into a Roth IRA because when you die, all that stuff is only worth a fraction of what you paid for it. I buy a lot of Legos after market from people trying to get rid of them, so I'm only paying a fraction of the cost. Plus, you can always go online to look up the books and put the items together yourself if you already have a lot of the parts and just order the ones you're missing. All my stored Legos are so much more concise because I stack and rack all my Legos by design and in rainbow color order so I know exactly what I have instead of piled in a bin. I think I'm the only collector who does that.
