So have you tested this unrealistic stopping power with a realistic amount of fuel cargo and passengers? And also with takeoff power? I've found it changes alot of the flight characteristics of the aircraft and my ability to slow down on a shorter runway. Same for takeoffs.
Even a Cessna 172 with full fuel needed twice the runway and twice the climb time required to get over a mountain.

That would be wrong, only because when planes land they don’t put full reverse thrust and full brakes so they don’t stop as fast.
If they did do that, then the brakes would overheat.
Please correct me if I’m wrong 🙂
If you watch cargo planes they stop really quick. I was told thats only for the passengers for comfort
@@johanneswubbeling6230 Well it may be for passenger comfort. but that's not the main reason. the main reason is the brakes. pilots always use what's called the Auto brake system or ABS which has the positions Off, 1, 2, 3, MAX and RTO ( Rejected TakeOff ). on a regular day on a runway that's long enough for your operation. 7000 feet or 2100 meters for the A-320. Pilots will use Auto brake position 2, If the weather is really bad pilots may choose for position 3 to stop more quickly. If the weather is really bad AND the runway is short for the operation of your aircraft Pilots will choose autobrake MAX. Pilots may choose for autobrake position 1 for example if you land at the polderbaan RWY 18R at schiphol with a small plane. Think embraer 175. Pilots will want a longer stopping distance because there are no taxiway exits at the northern part of the runway. and they don't want to taxi on the runway with 20 knots because that would take to much time.
And choosing autobrake 3 or MAX in unneccesary situations increases brake wear and the fuse plugs in the tires will pop due to the high brake temp. ( to prevent the tire from exploding )

Lord Avion The A320 autobrake has positions LOW, MED, and MAX. You cannot use MAX for landing, it's for TO only.
And maybe the aircrafts in the flight sim are not fully loaded

Nope the stopping performance isn't unrealistic. A plane doesn't land with full breaks (and without any passager).
and when he does it in xp11 with full brakes the brakes are not this strong.

If you go on MSFS 2020, and go to "Midland Airport (KMID)" in Midland, Michigan, it is actually incorrectly marked as an airport. It's actually made for RC planes, which means the runway is only 375 ft long.
Well, maybe with no cargo, no passengers, and very low fuel, the A320 may indeed be able to take off from this airport.

Can you please try Wellington airport .Wellington airport is a short runway and dangerous airport the biggest plane ever to fly there was the 747-200.the runway is 5973 I think but the biggest plane that flies here now is the A350-1000 please fly here your my favourite TH-camr and never give up on you landings swiss

In the patch that's coming out soon, they will be hopefully fixing the stopping/slowing problem or at least trying to. The patch notes included a inertia fix, meaning that the plane with have more momentum and take longer to slow down.
Elias Blake but I think Swiss is stopping quickly because of the weight/fuel in the aircraft and because planes in real life do not put full reverse thrust and full brakes when they land.
The peromance of the planes wasnt any better than in msfs but when you have 10 percent fuel 0 Cargo and full reverse and full manual brskes a plane stops really really fast search on yt for aborded take offs you will be imprest the tires are not useable anymore after such a stop
