Hi Joe great video as always. I like the features of the EB3A. I will be using it at deer camp for the mircowave and the coffee.pot. Keep those video's coming.
Enjoy your reviews since they're always honest and thorough. Found your channel when I was looking at purchasing my first cell cams a couple years ago. Ended up subscribing to the channel and truly enjoy the content. Keep it up!!
I love these units - great display, fast charging, 600W, low price. FANTASTIC! I caved and bought a Bluetti 200W folding solar panel and it performs wonderfully, charges my EB3A units great.
I have one of those. They are as handy as the pocket on your shirt. I’m on oxygen and when the power goes out instead of having to go hook up the generator I just plug in the little blue box lol. But they are handy to have on hand just in case. Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks buddy; and totally the reason people should have something like this. Just so handy! I have it next to my chair to plug my laptop into while editing and my phone is on top. For the price it’s a home run (if it lasts)
It is a great little item to own. Like I’m on oxygen and it won’t run the home unit but it will the portable one that I have to travel with when our power goes out. I really like mine. Thanks Joe.
Pretty straightforward review with most of the topics covered 👍 especially the tools part. This is surely one of the best usecases for EB3A, of course camping is another one. Good point on the case. There is an AC60, but availability depends on the region.
Thanks Rick! I can't believe it will run your furnace! That's crazy. I have been super impressed with it. Over Black Friday they had it at $209. Unbelievable value for its use. Thanks for watching!
We could really have a need for a Bluetti EB3A, as we will be buying and clearing land that we are going to be buying a piece of land to build our OFF-grid home and we to are going to be starting a YT channel and bring people on our Journey !!! Liked#200 and Subscribed too!!!
Good video, I own the EB3A and it is very handy for camping and when powering a CPAP using the UPS feature I hope the next upgrades in the 512Wh and 1kWh will be based on the EB3A concept. The features are amazing
Hey Hoss..... American living in South Africa here. We go through what they call "Load Sharing" almost everyday. Power is turned off in one region so they can supply power to another. Yes.... the ANC Government here is literally driving this country into the ground. Well... as of the first of Jan there is one company here that is selling these Power Stations. We are going to put our order in. No... they don't have them in stock, so we must wait two months for our ship to come in. My wife and I laughed when you said you were without power for one hour each day due to the storm. When we go to stage 6 or above "Load Sharing" - Our power can be off for 6 or more hours at a time. Try keeping your meat froze in that situation.... not very healthy! People around the world are watching your videos. I'm sure they enjoy your detailed information, but can't help but laugh at just how spoiled Americans are when it comes to power. I know.... I use to be one....ha ha! Take care Hoss.... Hope you enjoy this little song we put together here. It's from my album, "Stranded No More" God bless!!!!! th-cam.com/video/ZlkyPy-ljeU/w-d-xo.html
Hey Brother, thanks for watching. I must have misspoke (will have to check) but we only had 1 hour of power per every 6-10 hrs without. This little unit wouldn’t power the deep freeze but it would keep some lights on and charge phones, internet, etc. They had it at $209 for black Friday and to me that is a steal. Will check out your music! I am a musician myself. 👍🏼👊🏼. Appreciate you watching and be safe!
As you said, and I've mentioned when showing them; "Everyone should have one." The power grid is just too fragile these days. Use one at the cabin all the time now. So much better than running the gas genny. And for a temporary case, try one of those light weight beer coolers that come with some beer when you buy it (occasionally). The Landshark and Coors ones are great for them.
Thanks Rook, I remember seeing the Jackery on your channel and being really impressed. Like you said, things are just too fragile to not be prepared. And GREAT idea on the cheap cooler!!! I may give that a shot!
It will the eb4a. The solar panel option would be great for outdoor door stuff. Great video my power went out yesterday for 2 hours it was a beautiful day maybe someone fell asleep at tva. Maybe Homer works there.
Man I hope they give it a better name than that!!! Lol. Our power goes out all the time and it seems like every time I get the generator the power goes back on. This little thing is awesome and I am glad I agreed to review it. Great little generator (if that’s what I call it?!?). Thanks Miles!
Nice review, I have 4 solar generators including the EB3A. The only negative for the EB3A is the cigarette style port, it has too much slop in the plug. I use it to power compressor coolers and it last for 24 hours easy, BUT the cigarette adapter from all my coolers keeps slipping out which shuts off the cooler. It also over heats when charging it from the wall plug when the ambient temperature seems to be above 75 degrees. None of my other generators has those issues. Other than that I love this unit, thanks for the review.
Thanks for the feedback Joey, and welcome to the channel! I still have a ways to go to learn this things potential…but just the concept of portable power without needing to tote fuel and change oil is awesome. Appreciate you watching!
@@JoeTheFarmer yeah I have thought of putting it in a tool bag I just had around & boom it fitted so easy. Try taking it to Home Depot & try to find the bag or one that fits it. Trust me you will love it
It’s a pretty amazing concept. Still would like to see how the solar panels work to recharge it, but I can totally see a larger unit being a competitor to our Honda generators. Powerful enough and quiet. Just question the toughness over time. We shall see! Thanks for watching Thomas
@@JoeTheFarmer I have hooked up two 100w panels and it charges well. Had to hook up in parallel as series gave a over voltage error. On a sunny fall day I was getting just over 150w charge. Should get closer to 200w max in the summer!
I’d go bigger for that. I can say the tech is awesome but for me…I’d rather have more power using something like a griddle or normal coffee pot. Thanks for watching Ralph!
Nice review! I jut don't agree with adding a speaker, a quality one would raise the cost by too much and many already have one (to plug into the Bluetti : ) !
@@JoeTheFarmer Sent them an Email and they said to try discharging and re-charging. They obviously didn't read that it will not charge or turn on so how i was supposed to do that? I take it you know that if you discharge completely it will not charge via mains, only by 12v until it shows some charge.
Very true. Little buddy heaters still seem like the ticket. But the way they keep coming out with new batteries like this may be an option in the future. Thanks for watching
This is a great concept but the unit just deosnt work as advertised. I have this unit and after charging my iphone the unit went to 69% capacity. That means this unit will only charge a phone 3 times. Marketing says you can charge an iphone 25 times. There is no way that is possible. Pretty disapointed in the unit.
Hey Jay, sorry to hear that man. My experience has been that it will charge far more than 3 times…but with battery technology who knows. Could you send it back for a warranty claim? I have really liked this little power bank and would like a bigger one…but haven’t looked into it yet. Sorry you had a bad experience, but that is what is great about this community. We can share experiences with different products. Thanks for watching brother. 👍🏼👊🏼
We live in Southeast Texas and sometimes have tropical storms and hurricanes. This would be a good electrical backup if we lost power.
Perfect! Appreciate you watching!
This would be great for my setting up or laying down in my hospital bed in my home during blackouts!
It looks like a great option to get through all the power outages we have
Great review of the Bluetti. What a great device here on the property when the power goes out. Great channel Joe.
Thank you!!!
Great unit, I remember watching this when you first posted.
Thanks Steve! Appreciate you man!
Bluetti looks like the way to go for some power on our hunting trips
It’s a heck of a travel companion. The truck will charge it which is handy. I do need to get some of the solar panels though. Off grid!
Checking in from Golconda, Il. Love the channel and the product spotlights!
Thanks Broski! 😜👊🏼

We’ve been looking for a product like this for the farm. Looks like a great product. Thanks for sharing.

You’ve got a beautiful place there.
I have the EB3A, I use it daily.
Great review

Outdoor “proofing” it is a must!
Absolutely right.
The look super handy for sure. Have watched reviews on a few of them!

Thanks for watching and Good Luck!
Looks nice for getting a little power out to the storage barn without having to drag an extension cord across the lawn. Nice camping companion too.
Absolutely! Wrapping and unwrapping extension cords is for the birds. Life is too short for that nonsense. 😁

Interested in trying something like this on the farm and hunting. Good review!
Thanks buddy!
Good review. All the best from Greensboro NC.
Thanks Gwayne!
It seems to a useful tool to have on the farm Joe.
Absolutely is. More power is always a good thing. 💪🏼
Thinking about getting one myself for camping lights and charging cell phones.
It is perfect for that. And the charger on top is the best feature. Thanks for watching!
I bought one , I love the thing.
It will even run the furnace in my home.

You just have to click the DC power button until DC indicator lights up on the screen and wireless charger is in play. Simple and convenient!!!
Yes! And totally agree. It’s a GREAT little tool.
Enjoyed the video.

If you have 24v it will be 200 watts. So two 12v batteries in series would achieve this. Do your own research on that.
Maybe I’ll step up a notch and get a prebuilt setup instead my diy lead and scrap lithium laptop cells, not reliable anymore. Nice video.
Thanks buddy! They have some nice systems. Would like to install one myself and do a video series on it but don’t have the budget. One day!
Just supporting you
Thanks man!
Bluetti has not even addressed some of the issues of the EB3A. One issue is the overheating that happens when you charge the EB3A.
Haven’t experienced that at all. But good to know and I’ll keep an eye out for that.
It would be great if all their protective cases were emp proof as well.
ABSOLUTELY!!! I like where your heads at. 😁👍🏼👊🏼
Do you think it would power a 900 watt tailgate griddle? I know you can go as high as 1200 watts with less power.
I’d go bigger for that. I can say the tech is awesome but for me…I’d rather have more power using something like a griddle or normal coffee pot. Thanks for watching Ralph!
Can you hookup a external battery to this to double/triple the 268wh?? I know you can do it with the bigger ones
I don’t think that this one can tether to others. That would be awesome though!
Yes you can. You make or get Solar plug in adapter that you attach to LiFePO 12v-24v batteries or 100-200 watt charge respectively
