@@tonysheerness2427 The global temperature has increased by 1.5°C in the last 150 years, on land even more. This couldn't have happened without climate change caused by humans. Wind mills are green because they don't burn fossil resources causing climate change.
Electrical fires, cars both electric and conventional getting swept away and battered by debris, stationary gas tanks also getting ripped off of their foundations and carried away and punctured, possibly meeting an electrical fire, also whatever damage happens to the gas main (which has been shut off, but still contains something), chemical facilities, hospitals and pharmacies losing all their contents in the water... A flood isn't just a water hazard, it always caused secondary hazards be it chemical, biological and even fires before EVs were a thing (it's simply become exponentially more likely), the fire hazard has only become much more significant as these vehicles apparently aren't rated to stay safe in the eventuality that they get dunked in water, or maybe the debris and the intensity of the water currents were enough for that not to matter as the casings were damaged. The risk of fire by flooding has always been there, simply doesn't help that these burning batteries can act as a firestarter for all the unlit fuel floating on top of the water, as it is resistant to getting put out by water. The solution? Well, which direction to go to mitigate the effects of climate change which is the cause of the weather becoming more extreme every year can be argued about, but cities that know are at risk of flooding should take every measure they can to harden themselves against floods, so you don't have water carrying around combustible material and burning EVs around. Regulations could mandate for a higher IP rating for EVs, so they are resistant to impacts, crushing, puncturing and water penetration which are all relevant in event of a flood and could severely reduce the fire hazard, if not the number of EVs in the streets.

Whatever happened was deliberately contrived. There is footage of her trying to get off the gurney she was being carried on, her body covered as if dead. She was hastily forced back down on the trolley and covered again, and was never seen alive again. She was investigating alleged paedophilia in high places. They wanted her dead. You can't blame EV's on this occasion.
Our grid here in Texas is iffy. California had regular brownouts when my brother lived in San Jose. Adding 100’s or yikes! 1000’s of EVs and there will be horrible electric bills and not enough power.
EVs dont need to be 'revisited' - they are DEAD. Just look at Florida right now. How in the name of hell are you supposed to evacuate when your car is stuck in a queue for everyone trying to leave and then you run out of battery! Or, you have to go through salt flood water. And then your battery goes into thermal runaway.
Don't overreact,I'm pretty shure that in natural disasters gas pump stations quickly run out of fuel or stop working altogether without electricity. If you have fully charged EV in that case you're king of the road plus your car don't waste energy idling in long cues and is most efficient in stop and go traffic which is almost inevitable in those situation - so it's not all that simple. Plus yes few EVs caught fire but all ICE cars get useless when flooded too. You can not drive ICE cars in deeper water and well-sealed EV might just be able to do that because it doesn't have air intake for the motor combustion like ICE cars.
Most people have FUEL in the tank be it gas or EV. Any vehicle can be immobilised by driving through floodwater, EV's cope with deeper water in many cases. You don't make a lot of sense.

This is what I have observed by being alive long enough. It is oil, not fossils. Misnaming something allows one "artistic license" to do whatever they wish with whatever it is that they just bastardized. Petroleum is like water, there is plenty of it underground where we can not see it, but the PTB have control of it and tell you it is scarce, in decline, and you will have to pay more, you wasteful horrible person. Since the 70s, we've been told we are running out of oil, yet the populations and those who drive cars, have exploded in numbers, yet the flow of oil continues. The militaries of the world use countless amounts of oil per day. The plastics industry, which has exploded since the 70s, is entirely oil-based. The pharmaceutical industry is entirely petroleum based. If we have improved our extraction processes, then those diminished supplies should be long gone by now, yet the flow of oil continues.
Just like CFC gas in air conditioners/ refrigerators. Oh they were causing the ozone layer to dissolve... Let's change it for a new gas... that is a lot more expensive.
It was actually shell petroleum who first started using the term fossil fuel... Suggesting that it was rare allowed them to increase the price. The fact is that the oil is not that hard to make... Not compared to something like the diamonds that we now make in labs all over the world.
That's totally BS! This event hit the news well enough.. We do talk about such things too. But since it's still under investigating, the media do not speculate too much. Wait until the investigating is finished, and Volvo might have a huge task to fix... Dangerous cars isn't a new thing. Remember the Toyota floor mat who slid forward and interfered with the pedals? Some people died then to.

Hmmm. You say that, Automatic lane keeping, Automatic speed control, is fine. That’s what Autopilot is. FSD supervised will (mostly correctly) route you, lane change, enter and merge with traffic, understand traffic signals and intersection signage, make all required turns. Ultimately, someday, it will drive point to point, doorstep to destination including parking lots, with autopark. This driving system has a ways to go before Level 3 autonomy is achieved. The “Supervised” term is the definitive catch, implying the driver is ultimately responsible for safe driving. That means, don’t hit those surprising things in the roads like pot holes, water submerged curbs, parking lot access control gates, anything smallish suddenly running or falling into the road, confusing construction signs and temporary lane markings, the exceptions go on and on. Just like regular manual driving! Oh, and don’t forget that the FSD cannot “hear” things like emergency vehicle sirens, traffic control verbal commands or understand hand signals from construction crews or traffic control officers. Other than that, you’re good to go with FSD Supervised. Quite the adventure.
More than that. Governments aren't stupid, they're evil. They want all of us nobodies out of our cars and on bicycles. EV's are the reaction phase of 'problem, reaction, solution'. Look into 'Sustainable Development'

Unfortunately this sudden acceleration problem is not limited to EV-s. Newer cars somehow do it. Drive-by-wire and multitude of confusers seems to be common denominator.
Unfortunately it's the usually driver error when they confuse the accelerator pedal with the brake because their brain says need to stop press harder so they just keep pressing the accelerator pedal if you're lucky you do it in a field and you do doughnuts for about 20 seconds until you figure out you have to press the other paddle (happens to new or old drivers)

@@Renegade1127 Some states in the US don't have inspections. There's a multi-state zone in the US referred to as the Salt Belt where they salt the roads.

@@willtricks9432 Still going I think. Those Were The Days was number one in 1968 in UK.
All these driver aids are actually dumbing down drivers and I know plenty who rely on them instead of actually paying attention fully when driving.
It's the case with everything. DrLs don't help when everything has them. Hi viz doesn't help when everything thing it. Imagine driving a car without head restraints or seat belts. And drum brakes. How careful would we all drive then.
My daily driver is from the 80's. Only aid is power steering, that's it.
@@ifluro I had a 1994 car without power steering in 2004
@chrishart8548 Working at a dealership in 2000, we had Toyota Echo loan cars without power steering, a few older customers couldn't even get them out the driveway, horrendously heavy, even with 40 psi in the tyres.
@@chrishart8548 *gets sideways in a datsun 120Y*
um, scariest but most amusing car ive driven was the old morris minor... downhill, just gotten into third and already downshifting and standing on the brakes, hoping it would slow down enough to get through the upcoming corner... another 100M ahead...
pull over and open the bonnet to turn the heater on... a freaking gate valve in the engine bay!
I told so many Norwegians to not get fooled into EVs by their oil and gas selling government but they didn't listen to my good advice. SAD.
Karma.
Living through 2020-2022 I've learned one thing. Most of us are unable to take advice when they disagree with the gov narrative.😢
Porsche patenting a new 6 stroke IC motor….Ford patented a revolutionary IC motor….Toyota announced a new design of IC motor….Porsche also putting a huge investment into bio fuels…..NO WAY would these manufacturers be doing this if there was not a future in IC….
3:32 No known problems with the car? Covid death I guess...
Safe and effective !
I thought the same, heart attack or stroke. We have her in Norway buss drivers passing out on the job driving the bus strait into buildings. But hey, it is CoVenom time again, time to Boost Up !
Yes there's a serious problem ! they aren't waiting until the overlords command is given.
Anyone else driving a Volvo XC40 Mossad edition?
With exploding seat heaters????? 😂😂😂
Even Mercedes blew Michael Hastings sky high remotely after his attempt to reveal deepstate.
With Lithium Zion batteries?
I'm loving my Mondeo diesel from 2012.
When will they learn , we don't want them.
When I think of the summer of 20 /21 and the worst Australian bushfires I've ever seen, it is foolishness to own an E.V. Tell me you don’t care about keeping your family alive in this bushfire prone country without telling me you dont care about them being alive... by owning an EV.
Whatever happened to Aussies B.S. meter in this country. I thought we were all born with one.
The worst bushfires are caused by climate change. This is why burning fossil fuels is no good idea.
This country is no longer the one we knew and loved. It has become a cesspool of undesirables.
@@honeybee3317 When I think of those bushfires I remember tourists being told to go home for their safety. By the time they packed their cars after the evacuate order was issued they joined 4 hour queues to get fuel. Inevitability every servo in town was soon dry. Leaving many stranded without enough fuel to leave.
I saw a Canberra family holidaying in the place across the road charging their EV as they packed it. No doubt they had smiles on their faces as they drove past those peeps waiting in long lines for fuel.
most people retired the B.S. meter when "Climate change" was defined.
@@arealassassin so a Penal colony? Ironic.
I cannot imagine anything more stressful than sitting in the drivers seat of a vehicle in full Auto Pilot mode. Waiting to react and grab the steering wheel with only a split second to decide. How relaxing, not.
Volvo ? Chinese car !
Don't forget the haywire ID7 in the Netherlands. All the EVs are just too smart for drivers.
There goes the Volvo for life campaign.
Yes I heard about the fires...of course no one mentions the EV
Oh yes. I do my duty to the planet. I drive my Landcruiser everywhere.
My isuzu 2.8 TD my Mitzy 2.8 TD and my L200 TD are all I drive apart from my Hilux TD. most modern vehicles particularly EV are a danger and a hassle for us all
You're on a roll ....plz keep it up ...I share everyone of these videos
A young 23 yr old firefighter in my country died from an electric car last month....the same thing passer by said ...the car just start speeding like the driver got insane n run into a truck
Buy Your Disaster 😂😂😂😂
11:10 lane assist is absolutely not fine on anything other than a well lit, dry motorway. It's machine vision and machine vision is not meant for messy environments. People who drive on rural roads in the UK have had problems with them automatically veering away from the verge into the middle of a road that's barely wide enough to 2 vehicles.
Who is asking for autonomous cars?
They say the Volvo owner screamed as he fell down those four stories to his death, but nobody nearby could hear him as he was double masked. In 2024.
I can’t say I’m surprised tbh.
It’s often the certain demographics of people who are easily influenced who buy EVs too. People who are still so terrified of Co vid are very susceptible to brainwashing.
it may shock you to learn that not every EV owner/enjoyer is a fucking crazy leftist...
"EV goes mad kills driver" -> it's a feature not a bug... Great for political undesirable removal...
That's true for any fly-by-wire vehicles that maintain two way data connections. Very easy to hack into and force someone into a high speed accident.
Volvo 5000 "I"m sorry Dave but you upset the politcal elite"
Jag har haft en elbil 2016. Aldrig någonsin igen.
Nu kör jag 2 japanska 4x4 bensin bilar som är äldre än 20 år.
SeIf driving cars are insane.
These work better than the clotshots.
RIP Sir 🙏🙏 Exactly Why EVs Should Not Be Sold Anywhere on this planet.
Goodbye JLR ,it was nice to know you.
The Land Rover side will survive but the Jaguar side is being killed off.
All batteries, lead acid, Lithium and even Alkaline will short circuit across the terminals when immersed in salt water. However, only Lithium batteries suffer thermal runaway and burning.
ICE vehicles do not suffer this problem. Even if fully immersed lead acid batteries do not combust.
I just gave my old Diesel a large hug
The MSM is ignoring EV problems as hard as they can. They have to push THE MESSAGE, you understand.
