The second largest of the Cyclades, Andros is one of the most unspoilt Greek Islands. Defined by its natural beauty, authenticity & elegance, Andros Greece is a unique under-the-radar island.
One of the best things to do in Andros is hiking. The trails that comprise a network of over 180km are cleared, signposted and maintained by Andros Routes (www.androsroutes.gr/), a team of passionate volunteers with a vision to showcase the island’s real treasure: its ancient walking paths.

This felt like it should be a travel show episode! So informative and there is such beautiful scenery there. The lighthouse looked so cool, and if definitely be interested in seeing the museums.

September is one of the best months to visit Andros. The fierce winds are gone but it's still warm to swim but not too hot to hike! We're sure you'll have an amazing time! Totally love the video. The cinematic style and the drone shots are just impeccable. It is an interesting juxtaposition of lush greenery & waterfalls and barren lands. Agios Petros Tower looks interesting. I love Foros Cave, always been in love with cave formations and this looks cool. Oh, the beaches are just too gorgeous. So pristine! I might head to one of the secluded ones.

What a beautiful video of an enticing island. I'm in the process of selecting an island to add to our trip to Athens. I'm stuck between Andros and Tinos. Andros looks just lovely. What city would you suggest we stay in and how many days do you suggest? We like to beach and wander around to find good food.
Hi Kimberly! Thanks for your kind words! Andros is a large island, you'd need at least one week to cover the basics and have time to relax at the same time but if you just want to stay put and enjoy the beach, 4 days will do. Andros has quite a few towns to choose from. For gorgeous architecture and good dining options, we'd suggest Chora but if you're looking to be by the beach all the time, you'd be better off in Batsi or Agios Petros. I love Greece and I was a frequent visitor who always stayed at hotels in Greece, at least 60 days each year. But I will not visit Greece until the documents about Covid, and all the questions about vaccines and also all restrictions will be removed. See you in 1 year! Or 10 years? It's up to you, dear Greeks! The very best of the bests!
