Wasn’t expecting that one! But a good choice for a number of reasons. It’s a true classic without being crazy expensive, incredibly simple mechanicals, Looks good for its age and seems to be reasonably complete with all the key bits and pieces. When finished, I’m sure it will be worth something but then will you be able to part with it? Same for the Mira, you end up with a nice car the you put in a lot of effort for and if it was me I’d want to hand on to it and enjoy it for a bit. Perhaps these videos will eventually attract enough subs on YT to be able to do that and at the same time you may attract other paid business which will enable you to keep adding to your collection.
Threw a bit of a curve ball at you. Yes the VW beetle is a true classic and in Japan these cars have a big following. In an ideal world I would keep all of my cars and projects. Maybe in the future the channel will get recognised and generate some revenue...Then I guess I will struggle to find a big enough carpark. Thanks for the comment
@@MEZURASHII.lifeinJapan Your channel definitely deserves a far bigger following and I think it’s just a matter of time before you reach the critical mass and things take off.
@@daveshongkongchinachannel I'm already surprised that the channel is growing so fast. It's only been 4 weeks since I have begun the restoration journey on the Mira! Thank you for the kind words as always
I think it's fare to say you won't attending any Yakuza meetings any time soon as you will be busy working on restoring cars! hahaha . Once you get the beetle looking like new again it will be worth a bit of money or at least they are here in Australia .
Hello Australia! Yes I think I'll be busy for a while. Will be moving forward with the Mira project before I start on this one...just couldn't say no to it. Thanks for watching
Can’t wait to see the finished Beetle 🪲😊
Thanks for watching. I'll be making a start on it in later videos. Stay tuned
Nice find!
I dont expect a classic beatle.
Thanks for watching. Yes not quite a Japanese classic but it still is an import
