In today's video I take a look at the stats that go behind over 30,000 sales from the last 11 months on amazon kdp that used a thoughtful launch process. I also take a look at the niches, the ad spend, the timing of release and some new early education software that is releasing soon where I will be creating my next book with and doing a full review.

Hello, your video is really helpful. do you use/add negative targeting (keyword ) in the automatic ad?
I started last year making quick puzzle books and sold nothing. I didn't run ads. I unpublished all those poor quality books. I tried to improve the quality of my books and a few of them are really quite nice. I think I've mastered the cover. However I have no money to run ads. The ones I do run net me a trickle of sales. Usually 2 a day but it doesn't cover ad costs. Ads are costing me about 120 a month after adjusting for royalties. I just don't have that much to spend and I'm getting worried that my books just aren't good enough and I'm wasting money and time. Do I adjust my ads? Or leave them alone and hope the Christmas season will help?

Ive just start about a week ago and have launched 5 books already which is a really exciting feeling to be able to create and bring something to life and potentially make money from it, is incredible. I actually ordered a couple of my first book i made to get a understanding of the finish product.
I live in NZ mate and ive noticed a couple differences in regards to pricing my books because of the price difference.
So after all that big spiel 😂 haha and me responding in your comments while im pooping myself because ive never reached out like this.

I love NZ . It's my dream to live in NZ so I'm also trying to earn money through KDP. I give my self 5 years to earn that money and skills that can help me to live in NZ.
@veryeasyart hey man thankyou for your response dude. NZ is and seems to be the safest place to live at the moment man. Price for food is abit high but other then that there's no stress. How is your kdp journey going?

Started june 2021 about 50books, i even unpublished some of them, because i made them when i was in the learning stage. I went through a phase of get rich quick because i was so unlucky and lucky at the same time .Unlucky to be bone poor but lucky to have my mom.Then it occured to me that it takes time and patience .i publish midcontentbook and highcontent(short stories) it became a passion but at least i should see something with the time and effort i put into it

Thank you for the video… I am probably procrastinating on launching and starting despite setting goals. I have watched so many videos my head is spinning. People starting, quitting, doing well, wavering…. It’s like an emotional roller coaster. All I want is something I can invest in and give myself some meaning, a creative outlet that help me mentally ( for better or worse? IDK)……would I like to make money, yes, of course…. But to invest in something worth while and for myself seems more beneficial. But damn, this is a lot of work… I am just getting started…. I named my company and everything…. What’s wrong with me? 😅

I enjoy your videos, so helpful. My 5 books are not selling, and I admit that it's slightly depressing to put work into something with little return. I know its not personal, move on and research - just a little lost.

25000 units sold is a dream. Probably the biggest publications ( independent ones too) won't sell 25% of what you sold in 5 months with not much of investment in ads.
Is it a bit of luck? I saw a lot of beautiful books in your nieche, but not a single one of them selling like crazy as your book. I use bookbeam and I did the math on their sales too.

Always some luck but gotta stick to a strategy that gives us a higher chance of being lucky. Oh there are books making way way more in the coloring book niches, trust me
