Leopard is my first and only palette from hourglass. It is perfect for me. My mood exposure is mostly white swirl which I don’t mind because I just use it as a mixer with the darkest blush to lighten it up since it’s a little dark for me on its own. The mood exposure blush in general swatches bad on me since it’s too cool toned and purple on my yellow skin. I get the most compliments on my makeup and skin since I bought this palette. (I have mature wrinkles) I understand the hourglass hype now, and like you I got it for about $38 since I used my ultra points and a coupon 😍👏🏼
I bought the jellyfish palette which is my first Hourglass ambient light palette and I LOVE it. I totally get the hype, it's the perfect travel / handbag palette. Also, unpopular option, I love that there are 2 finishing powders. I use defuse light to get rid of my redness and the ethereal light to subtly highlight under my eyes. I have very light translucent skin so it really works for me.
Same girl. Their shades are usually too dark for me. I'm fair and cool toned and snagged a backup. Got them both 20% off too so yay. Agree love having 2 setting powders for the same reason. The blush and highlight are perfect too ✨️
Really interesting seeing Snake and Tiger swatched on a different skin tone. On my skin tone, they look very very similar, to the point where I ALMOST regret purchasing Snake this year. Almost!
I managed to snag Tiger cheap last year and am in the same position as Charlotte. I love it, but it's only really an 'everyday' product for me in summer and I have to be careful (I am fairer than Charlotte, but olive toned- so it is usable for me, just!) This was my reasoning for not buying snake straight away and I was waiting for someone to validate my decision. Thanks to you and Charlotte! (I may have just snagged Leopard in a very limited restock on Sephora- RUN DON'T WALK- but will only get Snake if I come across it vastly reduced etc.)
My first Hourglass palette purchase was the jellyfish this year, and it’s absolutely perfect for me. I have a fair cool skin tone, so truly all of the shades, including the finishing powders, work perfectly for me. I adore it and use it every day!
Although the marbling is beautiful to look at, I wish Hourglass would redo all of their blushes to make them one uniform color so there would be more consistent pigmentation. I love these palettes though, they’re my favorite purchase every year. My most favorite and used till this day is the Unlocked palette.
The Leopard is my first palette to ever buy from Hourglass and I love it! It’s so beautiful and for some reason it made me feel even better that u ranked it as your no. 1! 😁❤
Leopard being in first place is such a surprise considering how much you poo-poo'd it during the release a couple months ago. I'm glad you gave it a shot.
I bought my first hourglass holiday edit palette this year. I have a light skintone so I went for the gellyfish. Watching these reviews for years and finally got one. I like it but I have the feeling that I have to wear it more to full got my thoughts together about it. But I got the skin tint as well ( as a replacement of my Nars tinted moisturizer that I finnished) And that skin tint is my new favorite! ( I love a light base product, not a full coverage foundation girl)
Same here! I definitely need to use it more it is good but I feel like I expected more from the palette after years of praise I heard from reviewers and makeup artists
I only have the Leopard pallet from this year and it’s the only Hourglass product I have other than the ethereal light setting powder. The bronzer is a bit too deep and warm for my skin tone but other than that it’s perfect! Jelly fish was a better fit for my skin tone but it had two finishing powders ( one of which I already had) so that was no go. Great review!❤❤
I bought my first Hourglass Ambient pallet this year. I love it. I ordered my pallet from the website and chose it without the animal case. Gold case. I wanted more different powders and only 2 blush. Perfect for me.
I have the Snake palette and I use the highlighter as a bronzer or blush topper. I find it the most versatile for me. I only have this one though. I am lighter than you but I do love a light hand on my face colours. I have also started to place face colours in novel places.
Great information! I picked up leopard with the owl packaging, I’m very happy with it. I have medium neutral leaning cool. I have a lighter palette from 2 years ago that I picked up on a really good sale. Between the two, it feels like all I need.
Pass till I get in love with all colours in the palette (for that much money). I'd like a peachy blush and a neutral like rms maiden's in one dream palette please, hourglass
I love Jellyfish the most bc I love the highlighter and bronzer more but I also love Leopard too! I got it for mood exposure and dim light 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍 them both
I'm in ❤LOVE❤ with the leopard palette, this year. I'm a little lighter skin tone than you, but ALL of it works. My mood exposure blush is very pigmented, too and it's my FAVE Hourglass blush❣️ Happy Holidays, KIMBER(Austin, Texas USA 🇺🇸)🥰😉
I think your observation of the mood exposure blush looking different because of the greater swirl of ambient lighting powder may also be what makes your hourglass At Night very different from mine. I get a true brick red like the description, but I know yours leans more coral. It’s something to consider if you are paying online versus in person.
I love the Elephant one - been happily using it all year; both finishing powders are gone, plus nearly all the coral pink blush. Tempted by Leopard if there are any in the sales after Christmas.
I have the Ghost palette , which got a lot of use, the Elephant palette but in the tiger packaging and the Snake palette…I love all three but the Elephant one has gotten a lot of use definitely…the Snake palette is a bit dark for my skin but I use it with a light hand and the blushes are wonderful! Il love all three! ❤❤❤
I bought my first one The Edit and use it more often than the Elephant, I also bought one that is a quad, forgot what it’s called. Love your hair style❤❤❤ how did I not see that sale where you got it for 30pounds, I would have picked up a new one the Leopard for sure😢
I bought all 3 this year as up until then I never owned an hour glass palette 😱 shocking I know, but hey I was slightly late to the party. I love all 3 & depending on my mood I wear them but as I’m fairer skinned the jelly fish is the one I navigate when I just want a slight splash of colour. Thxx & Merry Christmas to you & yours xxx
Jellyfish is my first Hourglass palette ever and it is perfect for my light skin. I’m happy I ordered it as it seems to be sold out everywhere now. I ordered Leopard palette also partly for mood exposure and lovely leopards, haven’t yet received it. I’m sure it is awesome too. I couldn’t really afford both of them but what can you do…
I don’t have any, but my favorite would be Jellyfish. My skin tone is probably 2-3 shades lighter than yours and I like a finishing powder in a 6-pan finishing palette. In my utilitarian brain, if there are 6 pans of powder it better be my one-and-done for face!! I feel the same about eye shadow palettes - I don’t buy unless I can do my entire eye look with it, and I don’t buy any palettes if they include any shades I wouldn’t/couldn’t use at all. So I’d never buy a palette with a peach blush or an orangey bronzer.
I have only the Jellyfish one as it’s the best one for fair skin I felt like and I’m lucky to have the second blush with more vibrant pink in it I really wanted to get the richer color of that one
I was tempted to buy Leopard this year on sale but I don’t like my bronzer to be shiny and Jellyfish is too light for me, so once I saw them in store my FOMO thankfully ⤵️. Tiger would probably be perfect for me but am not gonna pay scalper prices to get it RN.
My favorite is the Ghost Palette. It was my very first Hourglass product. I love it and have a serious dent (but haven't come close to hitting pan) in each of the pans. I like the packaging for last year and this year very much. I have the Elephant palette and while I like it, I agree it's a little lacking in colour story. But I decided against buying any of them this year after I swatched them in store. There was nothing wow about them like there was with the Ghost palette (and some of the ghost pans were included in one of the palettes this year).
I have the unlocked ghost palette and those two finishing powders are the only thing I use in them. Is there an equivalent single finishing powder that’s similar to them?
the idea of the finishing powders in these pallet can totally be replaced if you use the powder daily you have a shed full on stand by plus hourglass sells minies so there they have an option for people to try the powders xx
Maybe I’m an odd ball, but I love the finishing powders. I have gone through several of their full sized singles. I love them in the palette when I’m traveling and don’t want to take all my stuff with me.
@@ClaireJaneGrayI have a single that is a pinch too dark for me, and I’ve really been enjoying using it to set cream bronzer. It gives such a seamless, natural look.
I love them too. I got Butterfly last year and I hit pan on both face powders! They’re super flattering, I use them as soft focus with minimal or no make up base. I love they’re there. We’re surely not alone, otherwise they would not include them in the palettes!

My very first pallet was the leopard thanks to my gorgeous children for my birthday. It’s just perfection.

you are one of only three influencers that I watch 100% of the time. have never missed a video. i just enjoy your content so much!!
Really interesting seeing Snake and Tiger swatched on a different skin tone. On my skin tone, they look very very similar, to the point where I ALMOST regret purchasing Snake this year. Almost!
Exactly what I was curious about too 😅
Yep! I just use the tiger for travel and the other daily. I do love them both though.
I managed to snag Tiger cheap last year and am in the same position as Charlotte. I love it, but it's only really an 'everyday' product for me in summer and I have to be careful (I am fairer than Charlotte, but olive toned- so it is usable for me, just!)

Leopard is so pretty and versatile for the whole face. I also love to use the bronzer on the eyes with a little strobe on the lids. It’s lovely!
This is a great idea. I bought the jellyfish in jellyfish packaging and it works well on my skin but I'm very pale
My first Hourglass palette purchase was the jellyfish this year, and it’s absolutely perfect for me. I have a fair cool skin tone, so truly all of the shades, including the finishing powders, work perfectly for me. I adore it and use it every day!

Me too! Leopard is my first and only palette. So pretty!
Same here. I’m so happy it’s my first one so I don’t need to experiment with a second purchase. These are sooo expensive.
Love the finishing powder.
Leopard being in first place is such a surprise considering how much you poo-poo'd it during the release a couple months ago. I'm glad you gave it a shot.
Wow your complexion is even more glorious than usual today. I even had to look at which foundation you have on.
I like the finishing powders I like one in a pallet for a complete look
The first one i every really thought about was last year’s butterfly paleete and i still to this day feel the fomo over that one 😆
I bought my first hourglass holiday edit palette this year. I have a light skintone so I went for the gellyfish.

My favorite is definitely Tiger, then Leopard. I also love love the first version of CT face palette from last year.

I have i think 8 of these palettes and love them all, some mord than others.
I love the Elephant one - been happily using it all year; both finishing powders are gone, plus nearly all the coral pink blush. Tempted by Leopard if there are any in the sales after Christmas.
My favs are ghost and jellyfish. You look beautiful in this video and I love your "bestmum" bracelet! 😊
YOUR FAV IS MY FAV! However, I chose the Snake packaging…..and also got the stunning Snake Brush! ❤❤❤
My favourite was the first one they did, I think in 2015? Sadly it’s now expired and none of the newer ones have ever compared for me!
My favorite was elephant and then jellyfish because I am lighter However I love all the pallets and loved snake and leopard.
🎉😂😂😂❤ Perfect! I think that was about food and makeup that is not a liquid for sure!!! I have that Peach and pinkish shade , fun pallets right ❤
I bought my first one The Edit and use it more often than the Elephant, I also bought one that is a quad, forgot what it’s called. Love your hair style❤❤❤ how did I not see that sale where you got it for 30pounds, I would have picked up a new one the Leopard for sure😢

SUPER want one, but would like it to be a “one & done”. Eyes👍 Bronzer👍 Blush👍Highlight 👍. Recommendations?? Light skin tone

My first purchase from Hourglass was the snake palette in the owl packaging. I really love it 😍 thank you for your great reviews!
Seriously, I would have been Thrilled to get that for 30 lbs , I remember in another video you mentioned that ❤! Amazing 😍
That’s another gorgeous make up and hairdo! So cute
I have only the Jellyfish one as it’s the best one for fair skin I felt like and I’m lucky to have the second blush with more vibrant pink in it I really wanted to get the richer color of that one

Just came here to see you decide between the tiger and snake lol!

I adore the packaging for ‘Jellyfish’, but can’t wear as I have darker skin!

Thanks Charlotte ❤
Maybe I’m an odd ball, but I love the finishing powders. I have gone through several of their full sized singles. I love them in the palette when I’m traveling and don’t want to take all my stuff with me.
I love them too - you’re not alone!

I agree! I was just blown away by the optical effect on my middle-aged skin. The finishing powder is a must-have for me.
They are so beautiful❤ i just can’t afford any of them this year😔
Wow kinda surprised about the top 3 order but i totally see your reasoning now 😀
How did you get the tiger palette for such a goodnprice?
How did you know I needed this ranking from you? 😂 I’m thinking about picking up Leopard. I’ll have to look around for a discount.
Your eye makeup is gorgeous in this video 😍 x
Crazy to think they've been making these since 2015 😮😮
How did you get it for 30 pounds?!
Best video ever!!!!!!!!! Loved ❤
I can’t find “unlocked” (#4) Maybe it’s discontinued?
Yes, since these are all limited edition
All lovely 😍
Take a shot every time Charlotte says she got the Leopard palette for 30 pounds 😆🖤
Yes badboys let‘s go 😍
Hello beautiful Charlotte 😍
How when why did you manage to snag that one for 30 quid?!?
💕💄
