Because compare that to the King James Version or American Standard Version and you get, “Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5:3, KJV) and “Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5:3, ASV). I called that toll free number which is active and staffed still! We prayed and gave thanks to our Lord Jesus for all he has done and is doing in each of our lives. The undiluted truth is my favorite. Seriously, nothing beats the good old sermon of incredibly faithful servants of God, Amen. When I look into Rev. Graham's eyes, I almost feel the presence of Jesus, no kidding. I never felt this about a pastor. It's that softness, gentleness and firmness altogether.
Once thought Billy was a truthful pastor, but when I heard him say none Christians will go to Heaven & found out he is (was) a Free Mason , we parted ways.
God bless Billy Graham and his family. I am blessed by his messages he had delivered around the world. My memory of my mom’s young age when she gave away her watch to the Billy Graham ministry when he came to preach in India is still vivid in my mind. For He himself Dr. Billy Graham was a natural, / real person! He may have mad his mistakes, but he asked for forgiveness, he accepted the Lord's grace, and went bakck & syayed o n the right path, That , that is a real person! We should follow his examle, Oh, and keep accepting the forgivness, yet go back & try to stay on the narrow & good path?! I shal accept his invitation, to follow Jesus Christ. It may not be easy ( Me / Kid?! ) but it was & can be donne!
