Ark: Survival Evolved is a 2017 action-adventure survival video game developed by Studio Wildcard. In the game, players must survive being stranded on one of several maps filled with roaming dinosaurs, fictional fantasy monsters and other prehistoric animals, natural hazards, and potentially hostile human players.

It's been a while since I last played Ark, but I very much agree with you; The Island is by far the best map. 🥰 I have fond memories from the early access days, pvp'ing with a few guys living in the same apartment complex as me back in 2015-2016. 😅

@@motivationquotes00 There are always max level dinos around even on day 1. You just have to search hard enough and get lucky

Little tip on the dragon fight raptors are really broken as the dragon cant reach them if they are at the dragons feet so if you dont have ascendent saddles for rex's or theri's raptors with prim saddles are really good also if you on fjordur or valguero you riding 1 deinonychus can solo the dragon because the bleed damage is insane also i feel ya it took me 72 hours of playtine to get an ascendent rex saddle bp

btw js a heads up movement speed doesnt affect ur speed in the water but if you pump oxygen then ull go faster

When you go against the brood mother you should use megatheriums because they get a buff if they kill insects and they do a ton of damage

Yeah quite a few people all say abb but for me The Island is it, that simple realistic world with dinosaur. The others are great maps but I've never been so keen on the fantasy creatures

guys i need smth confirmed.. so when u beat the bosses do u teleport to another map or and if so do u need to do all the bosses like all gamma beta and alpha. or just one for each boss? cause haven't played pc ark yet only mobile so i have no clue
Nope, on the Island once you beat all the 3 normal bosses you teleport back onto the map and once you defeat the Overseer you get teleported back to the main menu. You don't have to beat any tier of boss to go to the next map, they only affect the ascension implant you get

I would love for a Carchar to spawn too, but they just dont..
Could try killing all creatures in the area that they spawn (check the spawn map for them online) and then keep waiting

Every time I play Ark, I tend to get bored very early game and give up. I am trying to find a way to make early game more enjoyable as if I dont progress into later parts of the game, I wont be able to even beat a boss. Got any suggestions? (I will also post this comment on your latest video at the time I'm typing so you only have to reply to one if you feel like replying in the first place.).

Thanks! The rex had already fought something else (I think it was a high level raptor) and all I did was deal the final blows lol

What difficulty are you on? I got tons of rexs with mastercraft saddles of 80 armor and wondering if I need to look for a better one, I see you're using regular saddles, but I see other people saying you need ascendant. I'm on difficulty 8 out of 10

There's currently really loud fireworks going off because I'm at the Easter show in Sydney so I can't hear the video at all. Footage is good tho ngl!
What's it like
It was nerve-wracking as hell. The entire event was a health and safety hazard. Fireworks got launched in the middle of a football stadium. There were rides that actually broke the Australian law. And police supervision 24/7 because someone got stabbed last year.
I really never see anyone do these 100 day’s challenges and never go for an moschops right away. They’re easy to tame, great at harvesting, good attack, good health, good weight, and don’t need a saddle.
For me it just depends if there is one nearby that I can actually tame. I wont go out of my way to search for one, but if there is a one nearby I'll get it cause they are really useful at the beginning
nice vid bud. im trying .25 exp for character. 75% less EXP for your character. but it is across all the maps. just tryin to finally beat the game solo. screw official. and rip official. fun challenge tho. i think we just level up to fast in the game. tames are fine and left alone tho
also i put kills on .1 exp. and special on .5 not sure what special does fully. so far so good.
sad about the mosa around 22 min in. just to let ya know i actually watched

I have beaten the island solo alpha with out mods allot there two problems I have its getting 1 shot killed from demorphs in the dragon also getting all of my dinos into the tek cave and then most of them then to the overseer. the fist time I played ark was before the cryopods ( just before) and it was harsh trying to movie the army to boss arenas up mountain paths . I learn that for the ocen the best for me over all for those caves are the basi if you can get lucky finding two mating pairs , I never knew that yutis could scare out the purlovias have to remember that next time.
I have attempted to do hard core 100days but I never last in the early parts until level 20 at least . and to be honest wit hmy setting of max level dinos 240 i doubt I would be able to pull off beating any map in less then 100 days except for scrortched earth

I cant remember the coords sorry. But it was just south of the North East Mountain next to a swampy lake
Hey I notice u said u were listening to an audio book. Did it bother u while playing at all or could u still hear approaching Dino’s pretty decently
The audio from the notes dont bother me too much, I can still hear pretty well but if you they annoy you, then you can turn down the NPC Volume I think it is to remove it

You got any tips for me? I have never taken down a boss, I find it to hard finding high level dinos.
The story maps (Island, SE, Aberration and so on...) have really rubbish levels so you just gotta keep killing the low levels. Alternatively you could play the free DLC maps, they have a lot of higher level dinos and you only need 20 rexes (try and aim for level 135+) to take into any boss on gamma and you should be good, Good luck!

Seeing ppl acomplish stuff i don't acomplish in 100 days that they do in 10 days says alot about me, i can just never find crystals so i quit

My in game settings are in the description but I just use difficulty 1 and force max level to 150 on each map then I do a lot of killing till I finally find a good level

Yeah, when you play the Island again you have the option to download your character and all your tames, which survived the overseer fight, can be found just outside the tek cave entrance

i wouldnt say that the island is the best map, id say it just earns points for beeing the first map and it also earns points because all creatures were once real. id say the best map is (didnt play it yet, just from the looks) aberation. excited to play it after i defeated the alpha manticore. but of course everyone has their own opinion.
Aberration is a beautiful map, for me The Island is the best cause its the most complete (well lack of issues), many caves, bosses to do and I always prefer the real creatures rather than the fantasy.
How did u get the high level Dinis
I'd say he has his own server. I've only had the game a few months and been playing single player with the recommended settings for max lvl, using the destroywilddinos command and only get 120 max (water caves spawn way higher). But I've just joined an official server a few days ago and seen many wild Dino's upto 145 on land so far so I'm guessing it's server related. There is a guide to adjust single player settings to spawn max if you haven't done that yet. So I'm thinking max is 120 on single and 150 on servers for this map.
