When you do the signal connections you might make a small mistake at 18:09 like Bart did here by connecting the left signal on the right socket loll :) Im only kidding great contents and amazing job man thank you
This tail light along with the rest of our lighting equipment is not DOT approved, this is all mentioned in each respective product page. We offer a standard 1-year warranty on all of our TST Exclusive products. This light is sealed and should prevent any water from entering. Unless of course you direct a pressure washer on a high setting directly at it or if you submerge the unit under water.
@@TSTindustries Thanks for taking the time to respond to my questions. I'm betting none of the aftermarket lights are DOT approved, but I was just curious. That's a decent warranty too. I hope the installation of this would not void my warranty, I'll have to check with the dealer before purchase.
Hello. I bought an aftermarket light similar to this one. The only difference is that the one I bought has the exposed yellow wires without the plastic connector on the light assembly. How do I install or where do I connect the exposed yellow wires? Thanks in advance.
Is the "flasher relay" he references at the beginning the same piece as the "signal relay" he refers to at the end of the video? And this is to adjust the rate at which the turn signals flash, correct? Also, is this piece necessary to install if I'm simply fine with a faster flashing speed?
Absolutely and you can either choose to only use the external OEM signals or pair them with the integrated ones using our Y-Splitter. tstindustries.com/tst-kawasaki-y-style-signal-harness-splitter.html
To those of you that have completed this install, is it really this much disassembly to do? From the looks of it it's just two screws and a lip bracket that holds it on, and the taillight itself is flush on all sides so there's nothing else that will catch. This feels like a work smarter not harder scenario but I'm trusting the mechanic in the video. Is the extra disassembly to get at the wiring bushel or am I missing something? I'm getting ready to install my TST taillight on my 2019 ninja 400 tonight. Thanks guys!
Addendum: It sounds like the whole reason to take the rear end apart is because the bosses (spelling?) stick up into the grommets and the extra slack (play) in the fairing is needed to get the taillight out?
I broke both of the rear hook patches on the side rear plastic one on pulling it off, the other when I was putting back on. Anyone else have trouble with those, first bike blues but can’t tell, the lines are still smooth.
If you watch the entire video and listen to what is said you will understand what is happening here. We manufacture part kits in modules, and present installation instructions of each module. So our license plate light has its own video.
I don’t know how to answer that without coming across condescending but it’s our tail light. The TST Industries Integrated Tail Light for the Z400. It can be found on our website as mentioned in the video. The link is in the description.
We don't have that model here so we can't verify this physically but when looking through Kawasaki parts fiche the part number auggests that our signals and tail light work on the zx25r
A novice can follow this without making mistakes. Thanks for the great video!!! You are an excellent tradesman.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I love my integrated tail light, makes the rear so attractive. Thank you TST Industries!
I typically dislike integrated taillights, but this is great looking and has very cool features. Excellent work!
Glad you like it!

Thanks for posting this detailed video with great commentary. Greetings from Toronto, Canada.
Can you use blue loctite
? I'd like to put the other light back on too. Can I do both? The more lights the better!
Is this lens DOT approved, water resistant and what warranty does this have? Also, will installing this void your factory warranty in any way?

@@broderp We have not come across any motorcycle brand's warranty that is void by replacing lighting elements.
Haiii can u show us how to service z250 abs / z400 front suspension please? Thanks

It's a simple unplug and plug I'm new part.
Can the tail light be installed, keeping the original turn signals in play?
Absolutely and you can either choose to only use the external OEM signals or pair them with the integrated ones using our Y-Splitter.

Any plans to make this with an OEM red lens? Clear us too trendy/ricer and smoke looks like it blocks some of the light.
Only you and five other guys would buy it and then we would have to hold on to hundreds of red lenses waiting for assembly.

Why do you not keep a plate light? It's required in some states

Will this fit the 2022 model?
Do you ship to Malaysia?
Not at this time.
Is the install the same for the non-Z 400?
Do you mean Ninja 400? Then yes it's the same, but we also make a dedicated video on that bike
What is the name of the tail light

Do you send to mexico
Yes, directly from our website.
send to Brazil?
At this time we do not.
I wish I could have this in California. But it’s illegal.
Just keep the stuck one for any inspections or fix it ticket but most cops font care
In Germeny we say: Das ist nicht im Straßenverkehr legal
that plug is such a money grab ... why not just make the light flash normally from the start....
What plug? I don't understand your comment.
