This is the only song in my musical life that I made with Ryuichi Sakamoto in mind.
I liked the sound he created by combining both analog and digital synths, so I tried to recreate it using modern technology.
By adding an Asian pentatonic scale melody to the fusion chord progression, it creates an oriental atmosphere.
I constructed the sound using digital synths and samplers such as Jupiter-8 and HALion, with a focus on Prophet-5.
As a side note, I mainly use Steinberg's HALion because it has presets similar to Yamaha's Motif.
The first half has an Asian taste, and the second half has an ethnic taste, with a fusion-like piano solo on top.
