I love cars and i'm also a college student studying in japanese language and literature. I like the concept you made for this game, but i can't help but notice the japanese title at 0:20. I suppose you are trying to say "own the night" in japanese? If that's so, i don't think that would be the correct word. You are putting する (suru) after 夜を所有 (yoru wo shoyuu), which makes it means "to own the night", since "suru" is a verb that means "to do something". The problem is, if you remove the "suru" it will translate to "ownership of the night" which i believe is not your intention. So if you're just trying to translate your title into japanese, my solution is, at least for the time being, just use Night Runners in japanese katakana, " ナイト・ランナーズ " (the dot is the space). This is just my temporary suggestion, at least until a real japanese could help you with a better one. Good luck with the project, my man.

I've been studying in Japan for about two years now and thought I'd give my two cents about this too, because I also often see the Japanese in titles like this coming off as a bit odd.
I think your suggestion of just having the game title ナイト・ランナーズ in there would work great, but if the creator is going for something that means "Rule the night" or "Conquer the night" I would like to suggest "夜を制覇せよ" (Yoru wo seiha seyo). The せよ (seyo) is a bit of an old, almost samurai-ish way of ending the sentence, making it sound almost like an order, but I think it would sound kinda cool in this setting. It would almost be as if the god of street racing was giving you that order. XD
Now, if we're aiming for the kind of speaking and slang the guys who did this kind of stuff IRL actually used, I would suggest something more like "暴れようぜ" (Abareyou ze) which means "Let's go wild" or maybe "いじけんなよ" (Ijikenna yo) which means "Don't be a scaredy-cat" put in kid-friendly terms.
I don't know though, the last two feel kinda wierd to have as subtitles. It's fun to come up with ideas though!
I don't think the S15 was a thing in 1998 tho, maybe change the time to 2000

@@alexeygvozdev1777apart from that looks really good, but knowing the internet if this were to go viral there would be loads of people going apeshit for an error like that.
I suggest that when making animations like this with a VHS filter to always check up multiple times the production time of cars that are seen, like if the newest car in the video was a 350z put 2004/5 so that it seems reasonable that someone has one and is somewhat modified.
Although it's cooler to have it set in the 90s because it gives the idea of a recorded VHS tape of a 25 year or older street race, you have to be careful with the choice of cars, 20% to be more realistic and 80% to avoid having the comment section full of people pointing it out

Dopest game I've seen in a while😮, I grew up playing all the TXR franchise games and the import tunner along with the Wangan Midning games and this is by far the best hight speed feeling, two lane Battling, great handling and mechanics along with the heating factor and more fragile engines with high power, I must admit this is Miles Long Impressive ass game, first time in a while were I feel I'm definitely buying this.

Impressive how this guy is able to milk so much money from a mere Unity asset flip.
I mean he has implemented some details of the hype around the mainstream Japanese car culture, so it's likely to gain more popularity even by flipping assets
I feel like some details of the game were a bit inconsistent though, but I can't really have my full opinion unless I try the game first

what can i say...if no one else is doing it in the industry then he deserves every penny. Having all the assets is one thing, to be able to combine and pull off something like this is a whole other story.
