Saw this woman (Anita) live and cried the entire concert! As great as she sounds on TH-cam it’s even better in person.
Two of the best voices ever, and both have aged better than 99% of the singers around today. I mean listen to this. Regina and Anita can do a tour all their own.
Anita has a concert coming up in June in Vegas 2022.
Their singing could not never get old for me. Their songs are everlasting. These songs bring joy to my heart when I am feeling down. Their songs instantly lifts me back up into that World of happiness. A great place to be.

I was there. It rained ALL DAY. My friends and I almost didn't go but were determined to see Anita Baker. God introduced us to an older couple as we were getting prepared to sit in the rain. They were leaving and asked us where we were sitting. We told them on the lawn. The husband said we would not make it and gave us 4 seats in the pavilion. Talk about favor!! It was AMAZING to witness in person.
I was there too!!! In the Pavillion left side. It flooded some then a young lady swept debris off the drain so it wasn't a disaster. 😂😂😂 I believe Bob James and Anita did an impromptu performance! She is fabulous!!!!

When you hear a real pro in person it is amazing. I heard one of the best jazz singers ever in Vegas at a Charity event. Her voice was so powerful, had great tone, and she didn't even need a microphone. I will never forget it. Anita is one of my all time favorites too, I know most of the words to a lot of her songs.

This is beautiful!!! Btw the age of 6 and 7 I watched my mother battle breast cancer and lose. All we listened to was Anita Baker, all I knew was Anita Baker songs. That's why Anita will always be dear to me!!! You bring me Joy brings me to tears bcuz its fond memories of my mother and times we shared, I was always happy with her but life has its way. I cant wait for Ms. Baker to come to Detroit cause I'm going to sing, cry, and dance 🙂🙂🙂

Certified Thick Apparel - I know what you mean. My mother loved her some Anita Baker also. I too watched my mother fight and lose the battle to the horrible disease that is cancer (hers was ovarian). At least we have the memories. It's nothing you can ever get over, you just get through it. I pray that you have found your way through. Always hold on to the happy memories. And not just the happy ones. I found myself laughing about a time she gave me a spanking. I'd gladly take a spanking from her today just so I could be with her. At any rate, blessings to you love.
