Nice job! Makes you wonder why Kawasaki didn't have that already on? Also, the front fender is too short and should have been extended so debris doesn't hit the radiator. Shame on Kawai!
Do you think the tab which screws into the place where the plastic plug was is necessary? I have the Motowerks lowering kit installed, and that hole is covered by the lowering block. I'd have to cut off that part of mudguard.
What i did was try to pry it off a little bit to create space between the swingarm and the plastic screw head. This also gave me a bigger area to grip my needle nose pliers on. Then just use the pliers to twist counter clockwise and loosen the plastic screw.
Thanks a lot! I was looking how to remove that plastic cap.
I was about ready to give up, then you showed me how to remove the plastic tab...Thank you !!!
Thanks man. Your vid definitely helps in figuring out how to remove the plastic tab. 👍
Glad to have helped
Nice, great job posting this.. I was about to drill a while. It's a screw forsake. 😒
That stinkin' plastic tab almost did me in...lol!

I think you should be fine without it. You will still have 3 mounting points to prevent horizontal and lateral movements
cool bro))
How would you recommended tackling that plastic screw? I just had a go and couldn't move it

@@guitarmotoph Thanks, in the end I used a fine saw blade to cut a groove for a screw driver, had to be careful not to mark the swing-arm though
@@jackthehat_ Mine has something that looks like a cable under the screw cap. I can't get it out.
Which brand is the mudguard?
