  • A quick overview of the Skyreat six pack of filters for DJIs Mini 3 Pro drone.
We go for a short flight with each filter fitted to see how they compare to the original footage from the drone. Overall they are pretty colour neutral and do the job that is intended.
Toward the end of the film there is a comparison view with each filter so that you can judge for yourself. Lastly some footage with the polarising filter attached which again, gives a good account of itself.
As I had to wait a while for the weather to improve enough to make the review worthwhile, some alternative filter packs are now more widely available.
The music which you can hear throughout the film is care of AudionautiX and can be found here:

    Thank you for watching.

Thank you for review. I consider purchasing these nd filters. Should I buy them? From your experiences or go with freewell nd set

Hi no problem. Personally I found that these filters did what was expected of them, the build is good if lightweight. The only downside is that the polariser does not rotate so that could be an issue, particularly with the lens assembly able to change to vertical shooting. I have not tried the Freewell set for the Mini 3 so cannot comment other than to say that their filters are very good, based on using them with other equipment.

A terrific comparison. Unfortunately, the sky/clouds didn't make this attempt quite accurate. But, your explanation of what filters you were using and the images that related will sure help anyone who might have been on the fence as to which ND filters to use under different lighting conditions.

I take your point about the changing light. It certainly makes it challenging. As we face these conditions regularly it does typify the issues which can affect the footage that we take.
