- Nikolai Kapustin - Closed Curve for Orchestra, Op.35 (1982)
When I first listened to this piece, the first thing that came to my mind was the landscape of a vibrating and ultra-modern asian metropolis. So I thought I would put some night scenes of Tokyo, with great results. Hope you like it.
Haha, I can't help but have so much fun with this piece. It's almost as if Kapustin didn't want the 70s to end! Where did you get this recording from?
Music like this was popular in the USSR well into the late 80s! This was written in 1982, if I am correct!
This could be used for an anime opening. I had no idea Kapustin composed stuff like this! Wild! I totally dig it! Groooooooovy.
Ladies and gentlemen, the soviet jazz-rock!
When I first listened to this piece, the first thing I thought of was Studio 54 in NYC ca. 1976! (was never there but am old enough to remember)
Totally Love it !!! :D
It sounds like the Russian Style of the Saturday Night Fever!!!
Barvo! Maestro Kapustin!
BANGER!!!

Вау! Я никогда не слышал этого произведения у Капустина!!!
I kept thinking I'd see Letterman or Leno appear with an over excited TV announcer voice over....
Sounds like disco xD
Oh, nevermind. I remembered that I already had it, but hadn't listened yet.
try putting the NYC Time Square View over this music also! ^_^
