This man and the other people who can explain things better than the teacher have a special place in my heart. I’m just a 10th grader in chemistry trying to pass my isotope exam
I wish this was available when I was in school. This guy makes Chemistry seems more understandable. The teachers did not take the time to explain these problems and equations. They acted like if you get it great, if not; “oh well”
Why can you be my teacher? The way you explain it make total sense. I really love the way you used visual and hand gesture rather than PowerPoint and audio to solve isotopes and elements problems. So, thank you! Keep up the great work.
I would give absolutely anything for you to be my private tutor. You teach me more in 6 minutes than my teacher teaches me in 3 hours twice a week. You're literally saving my life.
i am so so happy, i have finished my SSCE without knowing anything in chemistry. but since i started learning from you, i understand everything i did not know. thank you Mr Tyler. you are a blessing to me, God bless you
Thank you for doing these videos. I have been struggling to keep up in my chemistry class and this has brought me up to speed. I sit in class for 2 hours and 50 minutes only to go home and watch these videos! Thank you so much.
justin bieber, i never knew you taught chemistry. not only are you talented in music. But! also teaching chemistry to young students, appreciate it fam.
I've just watched five of your videos and want to thank you and congratulate you on how clearly and how well you explain the structure of atoms. Its really helping to fill in the gaps of my knowledge and understanding. Thanks so much Tyler.
You’re a really good teacher . I just wanted to say thank you for posting videos about this kind of stuff because you’re th making me succeed in chemistry. I really hope you start posting more videos.
Hey everyone, I'm here to help. If you have any questions or just want to learn more, click on the link in the description above. It'll take you to a page where you can ask me questions.
Thank you for helping everyone that is struggling in Chemistry. Trust me I need it! My professor sucks really bad, without you I don't think I would be passing.
this was so helpful, he can explain things better than my teacher in school. I can finally understand chem better... thank you so much, you really have a special place in my heart.
Thank you so much! I had missed this day in class and in needing to study for the chem final, I resorted to TH-cam, and I'm so glad I did because this completely helped me understand the workings of isotopes. Thank you again!
Watching videos like this individually instead of working in a classroom makes thngs so much easier because the person explains it so well and im not in a bad learning environment. Also i can learn at my own pace and dont have to stress anyone else out. I can do other things in my own time because i have a life too and if I miss some stuff i can make them up whenever i want
Periodic Table. Man, not only does this man teach science, he teaches things such as Math in his other videos, I subscribed to him because he is good at teaching.
thank you so much for these videos, you helped me a lot!!!! To understand all my chemistry concepts! Thank youuu!!! You literally explained me this in 6mins my chemistry teacher would take like 2-3 hours still I won’t understand 😭 fr- lol, thankssss!!💖
Thanks so much for your simple an easy explanation of an atom structure. I surely am going to teach some little novices of science because of your videos. I am sure many students will have clarity because of your clean and right to the point explanations.
This is weird but I find your hand movements super relaxing in like an ASMR way. That or I'm so bored by chemistry that I'm literally falling asleep. The again you're a really good teacher, so I doubt it.
u the best at explaining i like how u explain to me like in the most simplest terms like i know completely nothing cause honestly i dont hahaha other ppl expect me to know what they're doing but u explain everything u the best
Thank you so much for these videos on ions and isotopes! I was having a hard time with the two, and you helped to clear up all my questions! Thanks again!
honestly when i was a couple of videos back i was even terrified to click the "what are isotopes" link, now thank god it's a piece of cake... chocolate cake :) my favourite
you made the lesson easier to understand..this lesson keeps bugging me for days but with you, just a couple of minutes and I got it! you just save my ass! thanks
How do you know on the first example of NA+1 how do you know whether to add or subtract from the protons to get the neutrons. What if the charge was Na-1 would you still subtract?
You do an amazing job of explaining everything but in your example of isotopes... you put the carbon 13 picture with the carbon 14 count of neutrons...keep up the good work though. you have helped a lot of people gain a better understanding. Sorry, I'm a true nerd, lol!!!
Hi Tyler , I have a question on my study guide that I cant seem to get pass. It reads , one atom has 12 neutrons and 10 protons. What is the correct atomic symbol for this isotope? Please help me ...
+kristina darden The atomic symbol corresponds to the element name. So what you do is look on your periodic table for an atomic number of 10. Once you do so, you will see the symbol Ne. That is your atomic symbol. As well, Isotopes are characterized by having a different number of neutrons, but the same atomic number. So, it could be written as: Ne, left superscript (22) and left subscript (10).

Anabella M I feel the same even though I am an adult-RN-Student, CCMA,CNA. Because of him I know my dreams are being realized .
I'm supposed to be in BIOLOGY, but for some reason we're learning this crap. This video totally helped me understand it though.
Hi u still there

lol, thankssss!!💖
You know your gonna be an amazing teacher for that subject if you can teach that subject better than an entire high school
For sodium how come you don’t round the 22 up to a 23?
why would you round it to 23?
22.990 is the relative atomic mass of sodium, not the mass number.
In this example he is looking at a specific isotope of sodium, sodium-22.
@@rwayle yeah r8 tnx
Good question. I was asking the same thing
@@rwayle thank you
Thanks a lot, i get everything from your videos for school, teaching better than my own teacher

Wow you explained it waaaaaaaaaay better than my teacher Hopefully I can pass chemistry exam my 8th standard
This was really helpful.thank you mr.tyler.
my teacher told us protons and electrons had the same number ;-;
Yeah, that's not true. Check out this video, where I talk about that exact thing: th-cam.com/video/GyJBstOn4t4/w-d-xo.html
Omg youre a directioner!!♡
me too

very useful, especially during the chemistry tests
thanks a lot
Your Videos help me so much!!!
understood in 6:39 way better than i did in my 2hrs lecture
Thank you man, you're a legend
Great video from amazing playlist, I am learning and remembering so much, whats a good video to watch right after this one? Is there a order?
You're a great teacher thanks
This was so helpful. Thank you so much!
hi there, do i have to remember the list of element that have isotopes, is any way to calculate or remember it . thank you
thank you sir i have learnt alot from you,but i have one request if you can do physics videos that would be very helpful thanks again sir
Hi, Im from the UK and the numbers on my periodic table seem to be different from yours ??
Hi Tyler , I have a question on my study guide that I cant seem to get pass. It reads , one atom has 12 neutrons and 10 protons. What is the correct atomic symbol for this isotope? Please help me ...
Watch my video called "What are Isotopes."
It doesn't list any .

thnkx for ur sharing....thnkz alot....i really appreciated that
There is a special place for people like this in heaven
You are the best !! Thanks a lot 👍
What if on the periodic table the teacher has us using does not include the net charge symber.. then are the protons and electrons the same?
Can you please be my teacher!!! You're so good!
thanks! you explained most of my quiz! :)
Question, why is Iodine 126 on the table and 131? How do we get to 131? How do we know how many isotopes each element has? I'm new to this.
Nice dude! Greatly appreciated.
do you have A video explaining what Mr and Ar is and how to solve those kind of problems?
