This enemy becomes more difficult in each appearance (except SM3DW where he was at his weakest), in Super Mario Maker 2 he reached his peak by trying to eat Mario, he also got winged and lava based variants, he's almost treated like a boss fight

An annoying enemy which can’t resist the urge to kill Mario. In other words, the Porcupuffer wants the player dead.
It took a long time for Porcupuffer to realize that he could eat Mario
Why was the porcupuffer only in Super Mario 3D World in Mario maker? They could’ve reused the models from Mario world and Mario U and created new art for them in Mario 1 and Mario 3
And for some reason it takes 5 hits to kill a Porcupuffer

Guys, this video was uploaded before Super Mario Maker 2. So the video maker would have to update this video to include the Porcupuffer present in SMM2.

It’s stupid that they made it exclusive to 3D world in mario maker, not even super mario world has it and that was its first appearance. It was also in NSMBU and they could’ve replaced it with boss bass in SMB3 and SMB

boss bass...? the name for the big fish in SMB3 is Cheep Chomp

@SuperGamingNerd Cheep Chomp actually appears in NSMB (DS) which was before the Wii, it also appeared in SM64 and SM64 DS (where it was no longer called Bubba), in SM64 DS it had its recent design but red which somehow looked very similar to Boss Bass, Boss Bass is probably considered a red variation of the Cheep Chomp (even tho Big Bass appeared before Cheep Chomp)
It was also in both Mario Galaxies ya know

SMW is the greatest game ever made
RETRO MASTER and now we got it on the Nintendo switch
I love super Mario world mainly because it innovated multiple things, new enemies, world map, secret exits to different levels, the clown car, and an amazing sound track

@Chan Daddy Skyrim is really good because of character creation, side content (buying houses, getting married) and it has great World to explore, but story and quests were... Boring and uninteresting, and combat sucked.
But I'll still put it in my top 10 favourite games list.
But Witcher 3 is unbeatable

Do you think Buzzy Beetles are annoying? They are almost impossible to kill.
In my opinion, A great advantage to kill mario if you have spike tops/spinies on top of them.

I think the original design is the most adorable by far. They gotta go back to that one. Still a very round boy but i think he looks less proportional. Lips don't look as big i think.

@@j-rex229 Its just design change, you may consider different species but they still behave same (a new name was likely given to this design in later games). Another example is Scuttlebugs, there design was heavily changed but they are still the same thing.

It was actually brown, its name is Spike Bass and while it has the same behavior, it's considered a different enemy
