Well worth it mate. Off topic but I emailed colas rail this morning about the possible opportunity to start a traineeship at the age of 41 to become a driver after 20 years of being a truck mechanic. I even offered to do the training at my expense! Hopefully this dream will become a reality at some point.
Excellent mate. 41 is no age at all. Have you looked at Shunters Jobs? That’s a good pathway to becoming a driver. In some freight companies you can progress in a couple of years. GBRf are recruiting at the moment, may be worth looking at there website.
