Yamaha Tmax V belt reset - 2001 to 2007 model

In this video, i show you how to reset the V-Belt on the Yamaha Tmax, this is a project scooter i have an its great fun, ive done a total overhaul.

is yours a 2007 facelift model? as you might need to follow the 2008 model version / method.
otherwise, it should work

Yeah man, this is the work i completed
3 new discs,
New pads, front and rear
3 new air filters ( variator, intake, engine air filter)
new Engine oil.
New engine oil filter
New Dot 4 brake fluids
New front tyre
new variator
New Bell
New spark plugs
New brake light
New headlight globes
total tear down and clean
What i wanna do next, if i get the chance, is the 560cc bigbore kit. gives i another 18hp
Malossi rollers and variator upgrade So then i can rip mad wheelies hahahaha!
New fairings, contacted a supplier asking if they can do pearl white

My 2007 model needs a reset. But why reset it? Iz there something else that should be done? Also.. Does your scooter whistle? 🤔 Mine does

its gets reset for every time you replace the Vbelt. that way you know the Vbelt is due to be replaced. since its a decent job to replace the Vbelt they decided to give it a reminder.
