Wow! I just came across this video. I lived in Gateway Gardens 1985-1989. Halvorsen Elementry School Candy Bombers. I used to hang out at movie theater and the AYA Club all the time during my summers.
Building 603 unit D-4 … 1967-69 … was in kindergarten through 2nd grade. My building was on the right toward the end of this video before arriving at the rear gate Sylvia Szabo if you read this, I had a crush on you in kindergarten
Memories for sure. Great time and place for having friends all in one place. Father stationed there from 1975 to August of 1980. Lived at 601-C off Boyd. Left to be relocated at Langley, Va. at 15yrs old. My name is Carlos V. Reach out if you where there around that time.
I was there from 86-90. I was age 6-10. Went to that little school there. Saw Who Framed Roger Rabbit at that theater. Used to play arcade at that store next door. Ride my little bicycle around. I remember Burger King. The airshow disaster in 88. Ms Boatman was my school teacher.
I’m 43 years old almost 44. I saw a few movies at that theater too. I remember that theater would show older movies sometimes. I remember seeing Planet of the Apes. Honey I Shrunk the Kids was the last movie I saw before moving back to the states.
Im 44 now. We probably knew each other. I knew a little black kid named Mike. A little black girl named Angela. A little dude I forget his name he would ride around on a skateboard with a little green jacket and orange shirt. I was in bldg 604. I saw Honey I Shrunk The Kids there! Played arcade at that little store buy the Cinema. Used to buy Cornuts there. Haha. I swear we crossed paths bruh.
I had Mrs. Blackstein for kindergarten then had Mrs. Stamply for 1st grade then had to repeat 1st grade again. When I repeated 1st grade I had Mrs. Hamilton.
