Chester, the voice of my childhood, passed away on my birthday. That was one of the saddest days of life. Many of us had horrible childhoods but the only way we got through them was through bands like Linkin Park. I don't know if he ever knew how many lives he had touched. Jada thanks for the amazing cover. You have the voice of an angel and Chester would of been proud.
He was my idol and I still cry. What hurts most is mine and a million other theories on him not committing suicide, but being killed by exposing trafficking. He's always on my youtube when we play music, thus brought me here Haha. Big hugs to you on having to share your day with one of the saddest deaths in history in my eyes.

In July it will be 2 years since Chester’s passing. Linkin Park has saved me so many times from suicide I have bipolar depression and anxiety I often lay awake at night thinking about Chester. He saved millions of people but no one could save him. Rest In Peace Chester. 😭💔 she has the most beautiful voice love your version of the song ☺️❤️

IDK if it was just me, but i could FEEL the emotion you put into singing this. In my opinion, you did this song justice. I'm pretty sure Chester would have been very proud of you for this. Please keep following this passion of yours. It shouldn't take a back seat to anything as long as your heart and soul is in it. Don't let anything pull you away from it.

This has to be the most beautiful cover that I’ll ever hear of this song and this song is one of my absolute favorites. In 2018 I lost my closest cousin to the flu at 27. This song got me through the worst parts of the grief. Thank you for sharing this with the world 🙏
Parents broke up , died by cancer,bullied in school, sexually abused for three years ,got addicted to drugs ,wife left , suffered depression,lost his best friend( and much more)

I'm here in 2024, because we put down one of my dogs Sunday. This song reminds me of her, dearly. We had her 2015-2024, and she ended up getting septic, of which we could not afford the emergency hospital for her. I said one last goodbye to her, which was a hug, and I felt her heart stop when I hugged her.

I've also been there. And I was able to get out of it.
In my case there was a problem, a hidden issue I had regarding how I was seeing life. Going to therapy helped me a lot. Doing group therapy helped really, really much. But whenever I hear about people killing themselves I keep wondering if this demon will take power over me. It is a scary thought.
