I ❤ The (DreamWorks) Trolls Franchise
where Ruby Gillman on this list!
I love how no one talks about Bee Movie being on the list for its infinite meme potential 😂
Sinbad and Shark Tale were my entire childhood. I don't mind if they were torn apart by the critics, they still have a special place in my heart.
Me too and especially Shark Tale, I don't understand why is Hated
I agree with you 10 billion percent!!!
Same
I liked Shark Tale, but the design of the fish-people are kinda creepy-looking.
@jimb.7523 is cuz they're trying to make them to look more like the actors 😅. For example Oscar does look like Will Smith, Don Lino do look like Robert de Niro, Lola does look like Angelina Jolie, ect.
How dare you, Shark Tale, was a one of a kind film.
The bee movie was good too.
I heard and immediately thought wachmojo was disrespecting my childhood
@flexive Thank you. Its a hell if a meme and meme game. I got this fkr my 5th b day. I still have it and warch it and love it
Shark Tale is such a gem
Finally someone who agrees! Shark tale is a good movie. It has a great plotline, great characters, and great voice actor's
Shark Tale number 1? Really? It’s a fun film with a great voice cast.
I know right
They're tripping.
No idea why its regarded as a bad movie. Is it freakin Toy Story? No, but its still a good time, funny, has a good message, and did pretty well with the "unexpected character trait of a stereotypical character" trope (vegetarian shark)
@@cheekypasta55 exactly

6:05 The Boss Baby: Family Business
7:02 Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas
8:01 Shrek the Third
9:19 Shark Tale
Turbo should have been excluded though and have been replaced with Ruby film from DreamWorks
@@Shahriyararin63 the reason why turbo is on the list is because the film copies ratatouille and the cars movies .
@@zoelindwall637 but like it's praised by critics and audiences. Ruby DreamWorks movies should there instead of Turbo. Copycat doesn't always mean it's bad
@@Shahriyararin63 Nobody likes Turbo, it’s just a Snail going fast, not much else
@@Jollyjose251 I mean to be fair, not bad but definitely nothing special
I'd argue The Last Wish shook things up for Shrek
The original Puss in Boots movie is a fine enough adventure as it is, but the attempt to resemble the style of the Shrek films kinda hurts it. The Last Wish went with a more painted art style that greatly helped how the characters looked, turned things on its head, and generally had a much better plot that didn't require people to have watched any of the previous films
Y'all, stop trashing Shark Tale on your DreamWorks lists! That movie is classic! The interaction between Robert De Niro and Martin Scorcese alone is worth the watch, especially when you realize that they actually did the voiceovers in the same room together. Just brilliant.
Shark Tale isn’t boring. That’s for sure.
Same i love that movie
Sure. "Shark Tale" is not the best, but this hate is getting overblown.
Okay Sheniqua
@@Jollyjose251 Well. Explain yourself.
Why would you make Shark Tale #1?! It’s not the worst! It’s the best!
Exactly!
Aye. Its a movie so bad its good. It should not be at number 1
I’m offended honestly
Okay even you know that’s a lie, everyone knows Shrek and Kung Fu Panda are far superior, unlike Shark Tale those films have sequels
@@Jollyjose251 and Httyd
I can honestly say that I loved pretty much all the Dream Works movies but I think the problem is that we just grew out of that era, the 90's and early 2000's kids are all grown or growing up now and the younger generations are not interested.
I never saw Sinbad. But Prince of Egypt is my childhood. It got me introduced to the story of Moses. It's one of my favorites.
I liked Shrek the Third. Whilst I do feel the babies were mostly introduced to sell merchandise, I found it to be pretty entertaining especially the scene where Fiona and all the princesses break out to try and take back Far Far Away. I liked Artie as a character too, he had a fair bit of development and his struggle of constantly being dragged into things he doesn’t want to do is quite relatable, yet he is still able to find his purpose despite all the trouble.
Agree!!!!
I totally agree with what you said. I love Shrek The Third and I praise Justin Timberlake’s performance as Artie and even though he wasn’t sure how he felt about being the king and might have had several disagreements with Shrek, he still managed to get over his uncertainty and changed things for the better. What I didn’t like about Shrek The Third was Harold’s sudden death, Fiona unwisely inviting Rapunzel to her baby shower long before knowing of her love for Prince Charming and Puss claiming he doesn’t know one of the cats in his family. But the ending revolving around Shrek and Fiona’s parenthood as well as Donkey and Puss getting their normal bodies back (except their tails) was satisfying.
Thanks. Glad you appreciate the film a lot too.
Keep it to yourself
Its not bad. Disapointed is fair.
Shark Tale was good if I'm being honest, it was also part of my childhood
Shark Tale???? I enjoyed Shark Tale when I was kid. It's crazy how on it's on the list
Shark Tale is not bad! I loved it as a kid and still enjoy it today even! And the fact that it's #1 on here is absolutely criminal!
Facts
What about the Shark Tale short film
Agreed dude this has to be the Worst WatchMojo Video I ever watch. To me in my Opinion Bee Movie should've been Number 1, mostly cuz I was a never a Fan of Bee Movie at all
Agreed.
@@Dragon-Catracho same. Bee Movie's pretty lame. The only thing it's good for is the memes lol
Shrek the Third was a disappointment, but I thought you said that Trolls World Tour was great.
Yea. I love Trolls World Tour
Honestly, bee movie wasn't all bad because we all learned how bees help the entire world and let's just ignore the innuendos, boss baby never got my attention, but Sinbad was underrated as Disney's Atlantis and treasure planet.
I'm really REALY glad Ruby Gillman is not in this list.
Also Turbo was a great movie, I'm a huge Ryan Renold's fan
Same
"Miss Kraken" was a garbage - lots of stolen ideas from other movies (especially "Turning Red" and "Little Mermaid"), cheap graphics, lack of secondary characters and trailer that spoils everything.
@@wojtekreliga3881 opinions are like assholes. everyone has one
I definitely remembered liking Turbo when it came out
@@wojtekreliga3881Ruby Gillman was in development for years. And the little mermaid was inspiration for the movie. They didn't steal anything.
And let’s not forget that Spirit Untamed is actually a reboot of the Spirit Riding Free show and it doesn’t connect with the show either
They can't beat the Original Spirit Movie that we all know and Love
@@Dragon-Catracho yeah for sure
How dare you deem Shrek The Third, Bee Movie and Turbo as among the worst!
I mean, Shrek The Third felt heartwarming given the fact that Shrek and Fiona were set to become parents. Although it’s admittedly not as memorable as the first or second Shrek films, it was definitely better than Forever After and Justin Timberlake’s providing the voice of Artie is not to be overlooked. Artie is such a relatable character, given his doubts and uncertainty over being king and his disagreements with Shrek are indeed sympathetic. I did, however, find the death of Harold sad. I was also angered when Fiona unwisely invited Rapunzel to her baby shower long before knowing of her love for Prince Charming. I was even left dumbfounded when Puss claimed he doesn’t know one of the cats in his family and he basically disowned that cat while rushing off to join Shrek and Donkey for their mission. But the ending revolving around Shrek and Fiona beginning parenthood as well as Donkey and Puss getting their bodies back (except their tails) was satisfying.
I can understand that viewers don’t like Bee Movie just because Barry became friends with Vanessa and won a court case by suing humans for stealing their honey, but look at it this way. As nonsensical as it may seem, Bee Movie teaches us the importance of bees and what the world would be like without them. There would be no honey or flowers. What other insect makes a sugary liquid substance for our bread and to cure our sicknesses? Bees. What other insect can pollinate flowers? Bees. The point is, I get how it can be a rehash of Stuart Little and a foreshadowing of The Tale Of Despereaux, but this film proves how special bees are despite being a constant annoyance to humans by buzzing in their ears and of course stinging them.
Turbo, on the other hand, was a very creative film. The idea of a fast snail was very interesting and it had a wide variety of voice actors performing the slower snails. Now, I personally disagree with the film getting adapted into an animated television series because the film itself was good enough. It did, however, feel a bit similar to Cars, but unlike Cars, it had its fair share of comedic moments such as Tito referring to Chet as Turbo’s girlfriend and Turbo on the news much to the Snail Crusher’s dismay. Turbo is a Dreamworks movie that I can’t get enough of, along with the Shrek franchise, Over The Hedge and Bee Movie.
I might agree with the other two but the Bee Movie sucked ass! You wanna know the importance of bees? Then watch a documentary! The Bee Movie is a terrible movie for everything! The plot sucks, other than pollination, they get literally everything else wrong including, male bees don't have stingers, don't work and are in fact kicked out of the hive for taking up space!
@@mugenshiratori6825 I like Bee Movie. Jerry Seinfeld’s performance as Barry is so memorable and hilarious. It had a very strong conflict.
@@pbsfundingaddict790 Very strong conflict? Such a concept only exists when the movie can be taken seriously! It was so boring and dumb!
A Romance between a human and a bee? Really? The mc should have been female. If you want to make a movie about bees at least get the facts right!
@@mugenshiratori6825 I mean, Barry winning the trial and the bees not working because honey ceased production and flowers (including Vanessa’s) dying due to the lack of bees before Barry realized his mistake is a pretty strong conflict. Like I said, it stresses the importance of bees, despite being an annoyance to humans.
Wanna know Why Bee Movie sucks? Cause The Movie showed us a Bee-Human Romance and Vanessa sued the Human Race is like She's suing herself cause she's a human and that could get her into trouble. So Vanessa is such a Stupid Character.
Bee Movie is a great movie for all the reasons the Bee Movie would be considered a great movie. It’s fantastic
I actually like most of these dreamworks movies especially growing up in the 2000’s as a kid
Me too well i didnt exist until 2014
Honestly, if this is the worst they have…They’re not doing too bad for themselves.
No wonder they seem great in comparison to Disney..
Besides Jim Parsons playing the lead character, Home wasn't that bad of a movie.
I agree with you. My mom and I like it. It’s cute.
The Netflix series is surprisingly funny too
You’re right it was that trash of a movie
@@westerfrost3701Cute in a bad way

Shark Tale was my comfort film as a kid
That’s all it is, comfort for children, nothing worth defending
I love Bee Movie, Home, Shrek the Third & Shark Tale, they are some of my favorite movies
I don't think Trolls World Tour should be on this list, and Home should not be on this list either. Trolls World Tour has better animation quality and better music. Along with its unique message, it is very easy for people to understand. The only reason it was not too popular was because it was released when Covid 19 started. It also costs $20 to rent online.
I love Trolls World Tour. It shouldn’t have been on this list. Trolls World Tour is my favourite in the franchise
Shark Tale slander WILL NOT be tolerated!!!
EVER!!
You should now make a watch mojo focusing on the greatest DreamWorks Animation movies of all time like Antz (1998), The Prince of Egypt (1998), The Road to El Dorado (2000), Chicken Run (2000), Shrek (2001), Shrek 2 (2004) and Shrek: Forever After (2010), Puss in Boots (2011) and Puss in Boots: The Last Wish from the Shrek franchise, Madagascar (2005), Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa (2008) and Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted and Penguins of Madagascar: The Movie (2015) from the Madagascar franchise, Kung Fu Panda (2008), Kung Fu Panda 2 (2011) and Kung Fu Panda 3 (2016) and Kung Fu Panda 4 from the Kung Fu Panda franchise, Over the Hedge (2006), Wallace and Grombit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit (2005), Flushed Away (2006), Monsters Vs. Aliens (2009), Megamind (2010), The Croods (2013) and The Croods: A New Age (2020) from The Croods franchise, Trolls (2016) and Trolls: Band Together (2023) from the Trolls franchise, Mr. Peabody and Sherman (2014), Abominable (2019), Ruby Kilman Teenage Kraken (2023), Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie (2017) and The Bad Guys (2022) plus all the well-shown specials and short films.
BULLSHIT, I am sick and fucking tired of people saying that Shark Tale is one of the worst films when in fact it’s one of the most underrated films made.
Eh, I wouldn't say Shark Tale was that bad. I thought it was pretty good back in the day. I must've watched it at least 1,000 times when I was younger.
As far as I’m concerned, any of Dreamworks movies that bombed hard at the box office before “Sinbad: Legend Of The Seven Seas” were probably its lowest point in comparison to anything else after it, particularly “Trolls 2: World Tour”. The only obvious reason why “Trolls 2: World Tour” is on this list is because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Did Watchmojo forget that they included "The Boss Baby" on its Top 20 BEST Dreamworks movie list?
I believe the reason for most of the hate toward Shark Tale is that it came out the same year as Finding Nemo and looks like a ripoff version.
Actually, SHARK TALE came out a year-and-a-half after FINDING NEMO.
But both movies have a completely different story.
@@Cornhollo26 obviously!
I loved that Sinbad movie as a kid, I don't care what anyone says, it's excellent
I agree. I just rewatched it last year. Honestly, I think I like it more as an adult.
@@westerfrost3701 the character itself seems to pander more to an adult audience, he's got that a**hole charm and a lot of his behavior wouldn't make a lot of sense for kids. It's like Shrek, a lot of the humor gets better the older you get, because you start getting that DreamWorks sprinkled a lot of stuff to keep the parents entertained.
@@pedrolantyer Yeah. I definitely noticed a lot of “adult jokes “ when I rewatched it. Lol!
It’s fun for the most part but the ending sucked
I never understood why they made a 3D remake of Spirit, when we had the 2D animated version. An animation that truly deserves to come back and stay, for it is the true magic of creation and life.
P.S. I just saw Shark Tale as a movie that was trying to copycat Finding Nemo.
Spirit Untamed isn’t a remake of Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron. It’s actually a spin-off.
@@westerfrost3701that don't make any difference. None of original characters are here or any of plot points.
I've never been upset with a watchmojo video... until I saw Shark Tale on the thumbnail. 😔 Shark Tale is so damn good, I will die on that hill.
That’s just your nostalgia
@@Jollyjose251 I just watched it about a month ago... it's still damn good. 😌
@@veronicalalonde1193 That is you revisiting your memories, not the film actually being good
@Jollyjose251 hahahahaha okay, thank you for telling me what my opinion should be 🙃🙃🙃 to each their own, bud.
The fact that they put Shark Tale at all discredits this whole video
Some of these particular DreamWorks movies didn't deserved all the hate that they got. I mean yeah they're far from perfect but some people act like these movies didn't have an audience, Well they did and even though these films weren't "the must see movie of the year" when they came out a lot of people at least found them to be entertaining which is good enough.
Why the hell is Turbo, Bee Movie, Shark Tale, and Shrek the Third on here?
I disagree with Shark Tale, Shrek the Third, and The Boss Baby. I actually love Shark Tale and Shrek the Third, and I like The Boss Baby.
Definitely disagree with Sinbad on this list. Was my introduction to the story, as well was the other animated Sinbad I grew up with next to Popeye the Sailor Meets Sinbad the Sailor.
Kid Danger: *wearing his big trucker pup outfit* how DARE you say Bee movie is bad? And Shrek the third funny has all heck!
I honestly prefer Shrek The Third over Shrek Forever After. Also Shark Tale was very popular in Poland, because the cast and jokes in the Polish version were much funnier.
1) Spirit Untamed
2) Shark Tale
3) Boss Baby 1 and 2
4) Home
5) Turbo
6) Shrek The Third
7) Bee Movie
8) Trolls
9) Trolls World Tour
10) The penguins of Madagascar
Megamind vs the Doom Syndicate : Allowed me introduce my Self”
I think just because the critics say it's a bad movie does it mean it is
Critics only exist to say bad things about the movie even if it ain't true you'll hardly find a critic that speaks the truth theres 1 or 2 out of millions
Honestly, I thought Shrek Forever After was worse than the 3rd movie. Sure, the 3rd one was abit messy, but I think it had an interesting story that overall I think was pretty good. And it still had some funny stuff like the princess group and Arthur's highschool. The problem was it tried doing too much at once. But again, I don't think it was out right terrible.
Shrek 4 on the other hand? That was not only lazy being a spiff of "Its A Wonderful Life", but just outright boring. The jokes were bad, Rumple was pretty annoying as a villian (not to mention kinda shows a plot point with the last movie since he was in it too), and was just really really mean spirtited through the whole thing.
I saw it in theaters I almost walked out I hated it too.
@@julianhall1866 I luckily never saw it in theaters. I remember I waited for it when it came on demand. Thank God I didn't pay for it.
Why is Turbo one of the worst?! I love it!!
I may be the only one here, but I think Turbo has a killer soundtrack and great Chowder like Netflix show (which is no longer with us).
You people should make a *"Top 10 moments when viewers disagree with WatchMojo"* video.
I find Shark Tale, Shrek the Third, Home, The Boss Baby and Bee Movie guilty pleasures. Spirit Untamed is my personal least favorite DreamWorks Animation movie.
How dare you. I LOVE Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas. That was a great film and seriously under appreciated!
OK…. Shark tale is a master piece, and I watched as a kid!
Sinbad is great! One of the coolest villainess
Shrek 3 is really great! Best crossover of princesses ever
4:59 I think have a tv series for a film is a great way to expand its universe without creating to many films but rather cute animated episodes with a different story in each episode
Shark Tales is not a bad movie! Y’all just wasn’t ready for it.
I litteraly just finished all the DreamWorks films recently and i can agree with most of this list
The only ones I can't agree on are Sinbad and Boss Baby 2
I think Sinbad is pretty underrated and had a pretty neat story
And Boss Baby 2 had actual good setup humour
Boss Baby 2 is an improvement?
I'll still prefer Shrek Forever After
No. Sinbad was fantastic. A one of a kind film
How dare you put Troll World Tour on here, I love how they include different troll from all over, I love this movie
Why put that on the list? I thought WatchMojo said it was one of the best DreamWorks animated movies of 2020.
I love Trolls World Tour! I think its the best movie in the franchise right now
I don't care if everyone else hate Sinbad, it's still and will be my number one favorite movie of all time.
I’m not the only one thank fuck
@dm1517_ funny thing is I have a live wallpaper of Sinbad on my phone thats how much I love the movie 😅
Of all time? surly not
@Jollyjose251 Actually, it is. you don't know me. It's either Sinbad or Princess and the frog
@@KB15. Jesus Christ
I like Shark Tale , sorry about that , may be not a Masterpiece of animated movie , but it's cool
Shark Tale is definitely a classic
Shark Tale was terrible. In the same year that gave us The Incredibles, Shrek 2, and the FAR superior The Polar Express, Shark Tale was nothing more than The Jazz Singer mixed with cliches from Scorsese and Coppola mafia movies and placed into an ocean setting to capitalize on the success of Finding Nemo a year and a half before.
Sorry, but give it another watch after you’ve grown up and watched actual mafia films as you got older. You didn’t have something that catered to kids, you had a movie that pandered to them.
Also, that stupid Jaws joke in the beginning STILL grates on my nerves. Shark Tale earned its number one spot on this particular list. And Bee Movie deserves to be higher than 10.
I really like Shark Tale, Bee Movie, Shrek the Third, Turbo, The Boss Baby 1 and 2 and Trolls World Tour!
I love Trolls World Tour
Me too! Trolls World Tour is the best!
Shark tale ? Are you kidding me?😂😂😂
Genuinely had no idea people didn’t like shark tale I’ve always thought the movie was funny
I can cite the entire Bee Movie script by memory; HOW DARE YOU WATCHMOJO
Don't blame them blame movie critics cause they obviously don't know a good movie
I’m so glad that they didn’t put Ruby gillman but why sinbad?
So glad they didn't add How To Train Your Dragon.
The amount of people I'm seeing defending Shark Tale, yet completely ignoring Sinbad, is incredibly concerning for their lack of taste. 🤨
I don't know, I liked Turbo but with Ryan Reynolds, Sam Jackson, Snoop Dog, Michael Pena and the rest of an amazing cast I may just be prejudiced.
8:09 well nowadays it’s the _Kung Fu Panda_ franchise
Wow, I’m actually disappointed with this lol. Shark Tale still sucks though.
I LOVED Sinbad
Shark Tale was funny as hell
Spirit was really good
Shrek The Third wasn’t that bad imo
I can name multiple DreamWorks movies that aren’t on this list that are worse than ‘Bee Movie’, ‘Home’ and ‘Shark Tale’.
The other ones on the list I either haven’t watched, or I agree with being on the list.
You punks, you're gonna pay for ruining our childhood 😡😡
I won’t forgive you for putting Bee movie and Shark tale on here smh
Turbo isn't trying to be F&F nor did it belong on this list considering the worst thing about it is how it is cliche, yet Phoebe also said it was just as unique. And it's certainly better than Cars 2.
I saw Home on my 16th birthday so it's not just for kids.
SinBad may not be Pirates of the Caribbean but it's still a fun pirate movie.
The Boss Baby movies are like the Minions movies just less funny.
Shark Tale and that alone makes it better than Shrek The Third, but it also has more than one memorable joke, and I don't mean the beginning where the king dies.
I saw Shark Tale on here and I rioted.
I do appreciate the boss baby sequel mainly because I like the Godzilla reference
How dare you. Shark tale was amazing
Trolls World Tour is a gem excellent message and catchy music
I know right, I love how they added more troll, they even made a tv series based off the world tour
Why put that on the list? I thought WatchMojo said it was one of the best DreamWorks animated movies of 2020.
I completely agree. Trolls World Tour is awesome
Shark Tale and Turbo are my childhood and I'm sure other people would agree with me.
Couldn't agree more
I’d take Shrek The Third anytime over Boss Baby and Shark Tale
I don’t even remember that the sequel to Boss Baby exists!
Sinbad: Legend Of The Seven Seas wasn’t bad, just forgettable.
Thanks to Schaffrillas Productions, I can enjoy laughing at Shark Tale’s flaws.
BOY!!! THE BOSS BABY SHOULD'VE BEEN NUMBER 1!!!! NOT NUMBER 7!!!!
Please do Top 20 Underrated DreamWorks Movies
Critics are overrated. Putting SHARK TALE at the top of the list, much less ahead of boss baby, at all, proves it.
The fact that Shark Tale got an Oscar Nomination for Best Animated Feature over movies like the SpongeBob movie and the Polar Express is forever a crime
I can understand from most people that some of these are bad, but for those of you, like me, some of these were part of our childhoods. That is why I see ones like Home, Sinbad and Turbo are underrated or forgotten (or, at least, fondly remembered) gems.
I love The Prince Of Egypt, the music composed by Hans Zimmer is great.
YOU TAKE THAT BACK RIGHT NOW!!!! Shark tale along with other Dreamworks movies like Madagascar and Shrek is one of my childhood movies bruh! When I first saw this movie man I was obsessed with Lola and her character!
You should’ve just stated that you were obsessed with Lola and left it there
For every Road To El Dorado, we get a Boss Baby. 😂
I'm honestly shocked that Sinbad and Shark Tale are on this list
SharkTale Stinks like a Deadfish
Home isn't a Bad Movie. It's just underrated and forgotten
This list should be called disapointed Dreamworks movies instead worst.
Such as Shrek 3, The Boss baby 1, and Home.
Should have been titled "DreamWorks worst movies compared to their best"
What is this nitpicking?
