- Sky News host Andrew Bolt says the government is “desperate” for green hydrogen to work because Australia is running out of electricity due to Labor’s global warming policies.
“The government is betting the house, in fact, betting your house on this green hydrogen, which Chris Bowen … is also selling very hard,” Mr Bolt said.
“I get why the government is so desperate for green hydrogen to work … we are running out of electricity, precisely because of Labor’s global warming policies.”

The problem with hydrogen as a source of "clean" energy, is storage and dangerous leakage. Gases are compressibly so you can store greater quantities of it under pressure.The problem with hydrogen gas under pressure is that as hydrogen is the smallest atom in the Periodic table it, being volatile it can dangerously leak.

That's OK of the outback can go without power to feed the cities and the outback can live on diesel generators the ones that can afford it or they buy more solar panels and batteries for the night but the out back counsel's start doing it to power the towns and take away the income from the power grid and to power the towns so up the rates another 100% or 200% per year on land tax rates to build those solar power stations for each town. Hydrogen requires splitting water into its elements. You need electricity to do this, and lots of it.
