this was my first ever rc event of any kind. i had lots of fun trail riding and climbing except for breaking a frt axle and finding out these trucks catch heck and always tighten lock tight the crap out of your screws. but being a ham radio guy i was expecting lots of dealers and people selling used stuff, i went with a big list for parts i wanted to buy and only saw 1 dealer under the pavilion selling and he left early saturday due to the wind blowing his stuff away! and nobody at the booths that where in them. what am i missing here? that sucked big time. did i miss something? was there other dealers there in another section? I got a set of tires as i was leaving saturday from the only person i saw selling. i hope BTC in May is better!
Two different types of events but BTC is literally 10x better as far as dealers, vendors and people selling things.
- My thoughts are... that SCALE NAT'S, is mostly "just for "doin' it"... comp'in' !!...??

I think in C2 only Nabil and Bryce were running Hyrax, but yes they’re a good tire and popular among competitors. Gabe was running KLRs, Andrew was running Trenchers and Wyatt was running Krawlers
I think these comps would be much more entertaining without winches...
I don’t know any of these people, wish we had something like this near me, seems no one rcs around here, if they do it’s all about going faster, yawn!

I can’t get behind all the winching. If you need to winch that much it’s either a poorly designed course, or a poorly built truck.

Is it just me or it's turned into a winching competition? I see so much winch at like a third of the gates so I can't help but wonder if it's still crawling or something else.. 🤔
Also I find it hard to admit and count as acceptable to winch through a bonus gate... I Don't know but it just seems odd and not quite right
Since your on a time limit, your better off winching. Seen guys burn time not winching. Worse off, flippin over and running over the gate. Its a judgement call on the driver.
