I found in the UK I was losing loads of F1s I put down to slack lining I now hit and hold and dont seem to lose as many
Well Done Bill David just an observation when playing a fish you drop your rod giving slack line dont know if you use barbless hooks this could be the reason for losing fish
you may be right, I don't mean to. however the big fish snapped 8lb line, not sure what it was
Well done but could've all been different if you'd landed that biggun.Definitely needed the monty bite alarm
