    idk who designed the game of life but it sucks. yea it starts promising, you get better stuff by farming, increase your attributes and such but later on your attributes decrease even to the point of going totally bust. if you don't like the game you can't really quit, you have to play by rules made by others and you can't really change the rules much either. you may also experience bugs, yet again out of your hands, that may terminate your unit at any point (at least some of them can be fixed). even if you are generally speaking a nice person some may not tolerate your views or way of life or beliefs and even if you play life and abide all the rules and pass all road blocks you may still not reach your goals or find happiness and you're always competing with everybody for everything. the game may terminate at any point and the more you play the closer you get to the end but you don't really know when that is either. no but seriously if somebody did design all this, they really trolled everybody really hard and if they are watching us, how we all don't get along and bicker and experience all the hardships of the game of life, they are probably loling hard at us. and another funny thing, they designed the game in such a way that we as a whole will not stop playing, there will always be new people forced into this game without even given a choice whether they wanna play or not and a lot of them get bad start and the game is already rigged so hard against them that they may not even enjoy it at all. one day the game may end for our whole race but it may also restart and repeat itself infinitely and maybe that is the case even now but sadly we do not remember if we played it before

    • @tpsam
      @tpsam 4 ปีที่แล้ว +32

      And yet despite all of this
      Our community of gamers found a way to keep succeeding and improving the game making it more and more easier and rewarding for each new player
      We have a much wider range of difficulty sets and millions of different quests we can choose to tackle
      We don't really have to worry about survival mode anymore because that's basically outdated
      Basically like in pokemon the game got so easy that we are now forcing ourselves to come up with new playing rules to make the game even more harder because the default version of it has became too easy for the current skill set level of the modern players

    This actually helps me out alot. I spend alot of time trying to guess what others will do before they do it, whether it be people trying and get closer to me as a individual, insult me or my work, or simply just having a good chat for a short while. Most of these predictions are pretty accurate, either because of me self-fulfilling these prophecies or actual good guesswork.
    Either way, hyper analyzing these small, sometimes insignificant interactions that I have with others is something I enjoy pondering on, this video reaffirms that its not a waste of time, just a fun way to pass it.

Another theory is that the stronger the connection between two people the more they'll share similarities. So you might also have been watching a lot of his videos, liked them, and now your way of thinking is similar to him. Great video man!
    I did my final year project on game theory and it was fascinating. My supervisor told me I'd never look at the world in the same way again... and he was right! This whole Covid thing is basically one big game of N-player prisoner's dilemma. Some people are defecting against most of us cooperating and the defectors are really spoiling it for the cooperators. This is a simplistic analysis as it's more complicated than that since defectors may be affected negatively by their own actions but the principle is there.

    • @samspade1841
      @samspade1841 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      And yet we now know the defectors weren’t actually risking the cooperators. At least we now know the rules were lies. Did we learn more about the cooperators or the defectors. Seems to me we now know cooperators are willing to go along with authoritarianism and won’t admit they were lied to. What does that say about the game of life?

    This "strategic" way of looking at life as a game of winners and losers really hurts us as a species. Who is one to claim what the game is? Who is one to claim what is the right way to play it? There is no such answer, for there are no winners nor losers in life, only beings, trying to survive. Life isn't a competition that can be "won". Life is simply existance that an individual can interpret in an infinite amount of ways. Life is different for everyone, no experience is the same.

    • @OntologicalShock777
      @OntologicalShock777 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      How can you sure about that? For example you want to board a plane but you didn't know it will involve in a crash because of Engine trouble?
      But if you choose to stay home, the robbers will kill you while they sneak into your home.
      or if you choose to Marry a City Girl but she's having an affair?
      in-order to Avoid this, you need Strategy and tactics in the Game theory, which is the Game of choice..

    • @寂び侘び-b6s
      @寂び侘び-b6s 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @markeen mehogne "Choices" are but illusions created by your brain to rationalise a situation your facing. In actuality there are no real choices but guesses which lead to consequenses, a choice is when you can predict the outcome, thus choosing which. If you couldn't, it wouldn't be a choice, for you can't choose something you don't know. And this is the point, life can't be a game, because a game by it's definition can be "played". And playing something means to choose a certain outcome by doing certain actions. But reality isn't this predictable. In fact, no matter what you do, you can never 100% choose your outcome. Sure, you can guess and try to predict with logic what'll happen, but you can't fundamentally choose what'll happen.

    • @OntologicalShock777
      @OntologicalShock777 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @UCTzuhYdAdPgNL8Gruy1U2Uw I think you missed the point. If you play [VN] ren'py, you can understand what I mean, in life there's a choice that will dictate your destiny. Let's put it Simply: if you choose A to accomplish B' , but the outcome is X, you will choose another path, to avoid the Disaster of 'X, but the last variable is you don't know the outcome that if you choose A, you take 'X. Which is not Good.

    If you can effectively anticipate at least 65% of most probable outcomes, then you can put the remaining 35% into a much larger category. But analyzing 65% of every probable outcome is not possible. At least not in the sense your thinking. If you can figure out general similarities between outcomes, you can group them together, what I mean is this. If you have a choice between paths 1,2, and 3, and each path has a subsequent 3 paths, you only really have a 1/9 chance of getting the perfect choice. But let’s say in path 2, it’s branches 1, and 3 result in a failure, or undesirable outcome because of the decision to choose path 2, you can assume that the entire path 2 is not a good choice. But the problem arises with erratic outcomes. In path 2, the second path might actually be the best, because of that, best way to calculate that, is to play the matching game. What makes path 1 work? What elements. Now, with that in mind, if you can do that with many choices at once, you suddenly are able to do the impossible. Also a lot of paths are so improbable, that they will all have the same property. This property is, the fact that nothing can change the arrival of that outcome. (Ex the world exploding). There are certain things that are not worth wasting time to account for, like what you would do if your opponent tried to kill you at the Tetris world championship. The idea has such low probability that its not worth exploring. Unless certain conditions are met. These conditions are specific to the person, and the thing that’s being analyzed. If the opposing player had a history of anger issues and they were prone to becoming extremely violent, then yes. It’s a possibility they might kill you.
