So, fun fact, idk if you figured this out later in the run since I just started watching, but if you fuse two of the same pokemon together (which I refer to as "prime"s to differentiate, aka two nidokings fused together is "Nidoking Prime", etc.) they get boosted exp just like a traded pokemon, and many have custom sprites (the example I gave being extra kickass tbh) So while they don't create interesting type matchups or moveset combos, they can definitely still be worth making. A lot of them just have varied colors, or extra arms or things like that, but some are unbelievably cool. Another cool thing you may not have noticed is that while many of the pokedex entries for fused pokemon are auto-generated from the two respective parts of the whole, some are entirely custom and unique, such as with my favorite pokemon fusion of all time, Vaporeon/Umbreon (which is hilariously still just called Vaporeon when fused lol)

It's probably way too late, but if you're going for insane randomisation, you'll probably wanna switch from Global to Area, unless you like every Pidgey ever being a Zororak and every Rattata a Spiritomb, for example/
