Some interpreters give a literal interpretation which may sound strange to Americans because of cultural differences, but when Shota’s interpreter provides the English translation, it sounds like an American way of responding to the question. Ippei was as good interpreter as this guy is, but not the new one for Ohtani. Yamamoto's interpreter is even worse.
