the japanese fans tend to agree that it's equal or superior to the old fan translation patch in all areas except one. "SAVE" in japanese just means to save a file. save, *se-bu,* セーブ in the final battle with asriel, the button in the old patch was left 'SAVE セーブ,' and in the official translation it's 'ふっかつ' which means to revive or resurrect. apparently, for fans at the time, the realization that the video game function of SAVE-ing actually literally meant, in English, to 'rescue' or 'catch from oblivion'-and that they had been DOING THAT THIS WHOLE TIME EVERY TIME THEY SAVED THE GAME and were now not just saving themselves but were saving everyone-was a mind-blowing perspective-flip equivalent to the EXP and LOVE reveal. you can tell older, pre-official-translation japanese fans because they get very excited and emotional about "SAVE the World" in a way that post-official-translation fans don't.
Just goes to show that no matter who you are, no matter where you are from, if you find out that Temmie wants to go to college, you WILL want to pay for Temmie to go to college.
Another long Ange translation~ Thanks a bunch! It's always a treat watching her playthroughs, especially storybased ones. She's so sincere with everything
I noticed she got the dog residue. The item who's single main property is that it multiplies infinitely to constantly fill your inventory with more dog residue. And it sells for 3 gold. If she was observant enough to solve the puzzle for the dog residue she couldn't have missed this simple formula laid out in front of her could she!?
The cheapest (though not necessarily fastest) way would have been to use the Dog Residue to fill the inventory with Dog Residue, sell all but one, then repeat.
Deeper japanese female voices are so much more pleasant to listen to. Wish we got more of that in media instead of the unnaturaly high pitch tones that are basically the standard
@Afqwa depends on the voice dude. There's plenty of obviously fake Japanese voice acting (like Luna, though she's cute anyway), but it isn't "standard". Also, Ange's deep voice is fake. She's a sincere tomboy, and probably in her late 30s, but her voice is nowhere near that deep.
@Tum Tum You're putting words in my mouth here. The original comment said "the unnaturally high pitch tones that are basically the standard". I pointed out in my second comment that it isn't "standard". I'm not implying Ange's voice isn't female, but it's exaggerated.
Video releases on this channel are a mess. The actual videos are good, and I'd like to finish this series, but I'm not going to look through every video on the channel to find episodes that are scattered around, out of order, and poorly titled.
