@AL The reason Tom’s family arrive with a bus and the reason he is an outsider is because he is not as rich as the Roys. Maybe you think that every white person is rich and every black is poor but the truth is only 1% of the population are as rich as the Roys and everyone who isn’t as rich as them is an outsider to them. And maybe you haven’t seen the show but this family IS awful and racist and they would never marry a black person.
