- 그룹 U-KISS가 두 번째 정규앨범 "NEVERLAND"와 함께 팬들의 곁으로 돌아왔다.
전작 싱글앨범'Bran New KISS'의 '0330'을 통해 발라드에도 재능을 인정받은 U-KISS가 이번에는 리듬에 감성을 더한 새로운 모습을 선보인다.
앨범 중에서 우선 눈길이 가는 것은 타이틀곡 'NEVERLAND'다.
디스코 드라이빙 비트에 하우스를 더한 퓨전 사운드의 'NEVERLAND'는 Sound Design(사운드 디자인) 기법으로 보컬을 일일이 수작업 해 연출한 점이 특징이다. 현재 많은 아티스트들이 사용하는 오토튠(자동보정) 대신 보컬의 하모니를 하나하나 직접 구성함으로써 멜로디의 감성과 더불어 신비한 매력을 최대한 살렸다는 것.
타이틀곡의 작업에는 글로벌 슈퍼스타를 꿈꾸는 그룹답게 미국 현지 프로듀서 팀 'MARCAN Entertainment'의 총 지휘자 'RYAN JHUN(라이언 전)'과 사운드 디자이너 'ADAM KAPIT', 'JD RELIC' 등이 작곡으로, 주목 받고있는 'MISFIT'이 작사로 참여했다. 이중 RYAN JHUN(라이언 전)은 이효리, 동방신기, 슈퍼쥬니어, 샤이니, 에프엑스 등의 프로듀서로 잘 알려진 유명 작곡가다.

Yes, but there was no death threats, no full out harassment and no telling people to "kill themselves" or any degrading words like there is now, I mean fan wars have escalated to the point where Idols have to step in and take legal action...So maybe it's never been a happy place but it's sure as hell escalated and become something harmful...

this era of kpop was the best. ukiss, shinee, suju, bigbang, infinite, beast, 4minute, sistar, snsd, wonder girls. this is where it all was at. 2nd gen will remain superior.

@@sovereignboss1841 this is a great generation of kpop! i became a fan around when second generation started so its what i mostly know. ukiss was my favorite group so i can tell you all about them! theyre not very active right now because they only have two members left, but most of the members still keep in touch and release solo music!
Soohyun is still in U-KISS after finishing his military service in September 2019, and U-KISS members have been consistently topping music charts with their releases ever since then 😊

Because the year Neverland was released other Kpop songs like SuJu's Mr. Simple and Beast's Fiction also released.
But I do believe Ukiss has a better album content with their album Neverland 2nd EP Studio Album than Super Junior that time. Maybe the tight competitor is Beast's Fictin and Fact Album

to KISSME (or anyone in general) who dont know, they got hurt a lot while filming this music video because it was the hardest choreography they had done... and they still won nothing for it. ive been a KISSME for nine years and counting. I have about 10 UKISS albums and still collecting! i wish for all new kpop stans to listen to UKISS and other groups from this era that werent as popular because they were so good!! UKISS is still my all time favorite group. they got me through a lot of hard times in my life and i wouldnt trade my time being a KISSME for anything in the world.... in case you guys don't know, Soohyun left the group but promotes as a solo artist in Japan!! Jun also is a rising actor right now and releases his own solo music so if you love UKISS, please support them still! I fear disbandment is creeping up on them but I will never stop supporting my boys. I will be a KISSME forever! 유키스 영원히 사랑해요~

I super stan UKISS and still a kissme today. They're one of the most underrated kpop idols, really.
It’s the fact these groups never reached fame like today’s groups. These songs are so much better than what K-pop is today.
I hate how U kiss has become less appreciated now that there are other bands... Super Junior is still super popular and they've been a band since like what 1995? But U Kiss has been around a while now and a lot of people don't even know who they are anymore. It's truly sad... And personally they're one of the best in my opinion because they have good vocalists, rappers and they're exceptionally good at dancing! I hope people remember how good they are and they're as good as any new kpop band if not better then some.

A seriously underrated group right here, extremely underrated, they have brilliant songs, brilliant routines and a brilliant amount of love for their fans, yet for some weird and unknown reason they aren't as respect on the music scene as they should be, they give us 200% in performances, they sing fully live (some groups should try it instead of just dancing and miming), they give their all in the dance routines and still they remain so underrated, It's time for the kpop scene to stop being biased towards groups from the bigger companies (We all know it happens) and it's time to give hardworking underrated groups (not saying popular groups don't work hard, because they do) like U-Kiss the recognition they deserve. I've always been a KISSME and will continue to be.

1 to light radius - true but the new fans overall attitude about other groups that are not their own favorite is tainted by dumb fans so it makes for an overall dumb kpop fanbase. at least back then we argued then we each bopped and helped each other out, we argued and got over it because we had the real bops or whatever. i can’t explain myself

팬분들 많은거 아는데 진짜 솔직하게 말하면 유키스 좀 병맛그룹이라 생각했음. 근데 싸이월드 bgm 뭘로 할까 고민하다가 우연히 들었는데 진짜 역대급 명곡이다 싶어서 바로 결제하고 몇년 내도록 계속 들었음...
네버랜드는 당시에도 띵곡이었고, 만만하니 이후로 상당히 선전하고 주목받던 곡. 이 때 확실히 입지를 다졌어야 했는데, 12년도 때 일본 활동으로 넘어가서 그런지 이후로 입지가 애매해졌던걸로 기억.

I think people are saying they're underrated because of the views, but the reason why mv's nowadays have a lottttt more views is because of international fans joining in. And tbh a lot of new kpop fans don't listen to older bands, which is fine they don't have to. But U-Kiss was the stuff in Korea, just like RAIN. Except RAIN is like a legend of kpop

Desi Manihuruk u kiss was the first, so in a sense bts pied piper was inspired? Actually a lot of newer kpop bands did a lot of things that u kiss started first. the problem was u kiss didn't get recognized of those efforts. like the thigh grabbing dance move? mono scandal 2014 but that dance itself only got popular when a newer boyband did it.
