This is the in-game version of the song, the official soundtrack version can be found on the Mirror's Edge Catalyst OST and is titled "The View District". This Mirror's Edge Catalyst video was recorded during gameplay sessions from December 4th to December 27th, 2023.

Such a good soundtrack. Solar Fields is great.
One of my favorites to run through. Even just stopping in the apartments was fun, looking at all the pristine aesthetic, designer architecture, the sharp angles and monochromatic colors .. really wish they could've kept patching it I feel like if they had more time or a bigger team then it could've been even better.
Definitely wished the devs had more time to cook the game.
I wish here was more depth to the world and side missions, to have the chance to interact with more people (like established clients of runners, merchants, etc) in a deeper way.

I remember hearing people talking about how disappointing this sequel was. Video essays listing flaws and errors in game design, how it wasn't faithful to the original vision the first one had.
I was there, playing this game, recognizing each one of the flaws mentioned in those videos, but then I arrived in the View District.
This piece started playing, while i was looking at the infrastructures and the colors of that district. I stood there for minutes and I couldn't care less about anything else was wrong about this game.
Flawed game, but now I come back to this every once in a while to feel at peace.

The View will always be my favorite area/zone in Mirror's Edge. The simple tune with the scenic views really make for a peaceful combination that I can now listen to for hours thanks to you!!! :)

Have you ever thought about some views from below using the “Faith in the Streets” mod?
Too many holes in the world, very low poly NPC's and vehicles, also lots of NPC's walking through walls so I mostly avoid it, though I have put a few clips from street-level in prior videos.

Yeah the uploads for Mirror's Edge have slowed down the last year or so but this isn't the last one. I probably will be doing Mirror's Edge content in 2025. I have at least a dozen or so planned.

38:26 The game needed a lot more of these side quests. The most interesting of all the side "quests", and I would even say more interesting than much of the main story plot.
A good game nonetheless, but it's a shame, I had the feeling that they were halfway to something bigger and better.
